I like Lee very much and have been a fan since the first game he played in a knicks uni.

He hustles, plays with energy, rebounds well, has a knack for gravitating to the ball, and has improved every year since he came into the league.

But Lee's defense is still suspect. And his jumpshot hasn't drastically improved yet.

Between Nate and Lee, sign and trades will probably occur this summer. At least one, maybe both.

Will Lawson still be there at 8?

I just think Rubio should run the point for the Knicks. He won't be there at 8. And although I'm a huge fan of Stephen Curry, I don't know if he'll be able to defend at the nba level against nba sized twos.

seems like the knicks want to pick curry at 8, which is why i'm hoping they can figure out a way to move up, either by sign and trade or some other miracle.

if not we may very well see curry in a knick uni.

mike d. is not concerned with defense because he believes (right or wrong) that his offense is that good.

defense and rebounding win championships is the mantra.

time will tell. i would hate to have to scrap an entire 82-game season before it even starts; before the preseason even started.

been there, done that.

knicks fans deserve something more than what we saw last year, and obviously the years before...

Disappointing, but not surprising.

I know you were just bloggin' when you wrote that they should trade Lee and move up, but I disagree. First of all, I'd rather pick up a first round pick for next year than move up this year. Second of all, there is a reason why Lee has the greatest trade value of anyone on the team: it's because he's the best player on the team. Money alone will not lure a franchise player [you didn't see KG going to the Clippers for big $$$]. Donnie Basketball needs to keep building the core. Removing the best player is a step in the wrong direction.

With the 8th pick of the 2009 NBA Draft, Starks...for three...YES! selects Ty Lawson from the University of North Carolina. Dude is legit. You all saw him in the tourney. Speed, strength, over 50% FG all three years in college, will displace Nate Robinson.

Sign and trade Nate to get a 1st round pick [even if it's low] for next season.
