Steve Mills Finally Leaves MSG

by knicksdefense on May 7, 2009

I will not miss him in the slightest bit.

Good riddance Steve Mills.  You suck.  Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

Prayers and blessings to the Daly family…I admired his style both coaching and his threads

there is a lot of chatter going around that the Knicks are going to take Curry if they don’t land a top 3 pick in the draft lottery.

this was taken from knicks.com, they happen to be doing a draft profile on curry currently.

“Curry is often compared to Pacers legend Reggie Miller not only for his sweet stroke and endless range, but for his ability to create his own shot and come off the screen with a rapid fire release. At 6-foot-3 and 185-pounds, he is also built like Miller, and can keep defenders off guard with a keen ability to change gears and switch on a dime.”

Curry is 6’3″ 185, that’s not even close to the build of reggie miller, who was a wiry 6’7″, 195.

To say that they have similar build would be like saying dwight howard and david lee have similar builds. it is just not true.

I anticipate a lot of heated draft-related discussion, but I don’t think this story is reliable. The Knicks assured Curry they would take him and that was part of the reason Curry declared early eligibility for the draft? I don’t think so.

And I don’t think Donnie Basketball would tip his hand so early unless it’s some kind of psychout.

Maybe they’re interested in hosting a workout. Why wouldn’t they be? But this level of certainty seems far fetched.

the same thought crossed my mind.

what concerns me is adding another player who plays suspect defense. can curry defend at the nba level, where twos are often around 6’7″ 220lbs? If not, he may not be our guy.

Hey KD,

Don’t know if you’re on twitter, but check this out: http://www.athletetweets.com/?page=3 . This site has a roster of lots of athletes that are on twitter, including Nate Robinson (@Nategreat) and others.

Seeing Marbury in that green uniform makes me want to throw up. It’s bad enough that the Celtics are about to return to the Eastern Conference Finals, but having to watch Marbury play unselfish basketball and stand up for his teammates is absolutely awful.

I’m not sure I can think of one person in all of sports who I dislike more. A-Rod and T.O. are contenders.
