“Fan Appreciation Night”

by knicksdefense on April 15, 2009

Twenty-five percent off food and drinks? Where did the bean counters get that number from? Correct me if I am wrong (drossman), but wasn’t last year’s Fan appreciation night accompanied with free food all night? What gives?

Tonight will be interesting to see if Dolan’s emissaries try to squeeze in one last Isiah Thomas diss, seeing as he signed on with Florida Atlantic University yesterday. My guess is they’ll do nothing since Isiah is still on the payroll.

The New York Post is speculating that this may be David Lee and Nate Robinson’s last game as New York Knicks. The thought had crossed my mind as well.

Hoping that wasn’t David Lee’s last game as Knick. I’d hate to just exist in limbo until 2010.

Edward don’t you already just exist in limbo?

Also wasn’t this month Fan Humiliation Month with all that terrible play after coming within a 1/2 game of the 8th spot in the playoffs?

LOL!

Another tough season, but we all knew it would be like this. I’ll be sad to see Lee and / or Nate go, but I’ll deal with that when it happens. The biggest offseason move could be to get a 1st round pick for 2010.

I’m sick of people giving D’Antoni sh*t about defense. Coaches don’t play defense. Players play defense. Doc Rivers is a great coach, but the Celtics didn’t play any defense before KG got there and stared everybody down until they played D or got the hell out. Unfortunately, there are only a few players out there who can do this. I hope the Knicks get one some day.

Whats good Starks4ThreeYes. Have to cosign with your entire post, particularly that we need a defensive player or two rather than a change in system. the way i see it, we have a shot at getting a couple of these two-way players in the next two years.

hey, check this out, Steven A. Smith and ESPN are parting ways. Apparently Smith wants to branch out of sports and venture into politics.

knicks could definitely use some 2 way players…duhon wasn’t bad a lsowing down and or stopping dribble penetration before he got worn down

I D Lee a lot but he is one of the worst defenders on the Knicks esp. on the screen and roll and help D
