So Many Chances to Prove Yourself Worthy, Steph… Never Again

by knicksdefense on November 22, 2008

When given the opportunity to play last night, Malik Rose stepped up and showed us what a true professional he is, as he did what he could for the New York Knicks in a losing effort.  Sure, he shot some awkard three point shots that didn’t have a chance in hell of going in (the first attempt at least looked like it might have, though I was certain it wouldn’t) but his number was called, he stepped up like a man and tried to do what was asked of him under the circumstances.

There was another player for the Knicks last night that was not nearly as classy.

The slithering snake Stephon Marbury refused to play for our Knicks, according to Alan Hahn of Newsday.   Due to the trades yesterday, we only had eight suit up including Marbury, but when D’Antoni asked him to play, he said no.

Get this bum out of New York ASAP.

Put Stephon and Isiah on the same plane and send that puppy due south straight into the bermuda triangle.

I hope they get his ass for breach of contract and find a way to finalize a divorce now and forever.

And I don’t wish you well during your next stop Steph, because your loyalty is to yourself and not to the Knicks or to the city of New York, so I wish you the worst right back.
