The Awakening of Intelligence.
It is official. As of right now, the roster has been radically altered for the New York Knicks, with their two leading scorers being shipped out for cap space down the road.
Gone are the two gunners, Jamal Crawford and Zach Randolph and gone also is reserve Mardy Collins.
In their place are new (old, in one case) Knicks (for the time being, at least) Tim Thomas, Cuttino Mobley and Al Harrington.
These moves are really about LeBron, but they also about erasing Isiah Thomas’ many mistakes.
For years I’ve thought Crawford was bad for the Knicks, and to see the new president Donnie Walsh make his first “big” splash by 86′ing him relatively quickly (more quickly than Marbury which is supposed to happen this week), I’m feeling good about the future of the franchise. Mardy showed signs at the end of his rookie year, but has not lived up that promise since. Hope he gets some PT to improve where ever he ends up.
Zach had played great this season, but leading up to it, I thought for a long time that he should go too. I am glad he is gone.
Can’t say I’m a big fan of Al Harrington, in recent years I’ve perceived him as a journeyman, but I’m down with Walsh and D’Antoni in the meantime and would settle for D-Wade if plan A should fail for some reason (it won’t).
LGK!
(whoever suits up in orange and blue tonight)
Steph will be bought out soon.
The “mastermind’s” stench is almost gone.
Curry has been singled out.
James will be off the books soon.
The scholar is gone.
The smell of opportunity is slowly seeping its way back into the garden.
might as well put up a new MSG while their at it.
Let the old building go with the old regimes of failure.
New York needs a new MSG and New York needs Moynihan Station to be constructed.
Sorry Clyde, but there are newer generations of Knicks fans that need to feel some basketball glory since your great championship days.
1973. It has been too long.
Let’s get Nash, LeBron and some role players and kick the shit out of LA and Boston.
That’s the way it should be.

KD, i’m feeling a TT-buyout with a side order of Patrick Ewing, Jr.
we just lost our two biggest scorers. let us see how much of the offensive load everyone left can handle.
Dwayne Wade is 6’4″ and is seventh in the NBA in blocks at 2.0 a game.
That’s amazing.
lets see if lee gets more rebounds now that zach is gone. if not something is wrong.
KD the scholar is still here.
malik is now the first option on the court.
be afraid.

stephon will probably not get any burn.
