DLT.
How about Bynum, Odem, Artest, Stephen Curry or Eric Maynor or OJ Mayo ????

2 PaulNoize March 24, 2008 at 9:44 pm

Clyde says Crawford’s “patch” is just superstitious at this point. He didn’t specifically call him a ‘fraidy cat, but i can read between the lines.

He also evinced surprise when Isiah got real upset in the first half with the refs, noting how rare it was for Isiah to be so animated…and honestly, there wasn’t much of a foul there on Jeffries’ drive to the rim. Weird play that Zeke chose to make a big deal of. Why should his referee protests be any less bizarre than the rest of the Knicks’ season?

If i were Dolan, i would order the entire front office staff to dress in full “Spanish Inquisition” costume on “Exit Interview” day, just to see who gets shook. Eddy might peek in the lobby and forego his final check, LOL.

OR…..How about ARTEST, Stephen Jackson, Bynum, and Dwayne Wade??????

4 Peaceman March 24, 2008 at 9:47 pm

Continued…Riley is in COMPLETE rebuild mode…he’ll take Curry and a #1 knick pick
for Wade! While LA wil give us Bynum for Marbury!

@Peaceman,

The only problem with getting those players is……….some team will have to take ours.

Who???????????????????????What team????????????????????????

What team wants Curry?Zach?Q?JJames,JJefferies…..maybe Steph’s contract.

6 PaulNoize March 24, 2008 at 9:50 pm

Peaceman blowing out all his smooth Saturday night pillow talk here on the Monday night hardleg Defenders! Peace you preach a smooth game dude, from your lips to God’s ears!

Chandler a three in garbage time. 102-87 now. Mardy called for palming, LOL. Maybe we should have kept Jordan?

7 Peaceman March 24, 2008 at 9:50 pm

Paulnoize,
Artest can make three times his salery in endorsments in NY if the Knicks are winning!
Plus his Daughter is being treated at SLOAN!!!!!!

8 PaulNoize March 24, 2008 at 9:53 pm

seventh straight home loss tonight. worst home losing streak since 1963. Woot!

9 Peaceman March 24, 2008 at 9:53 pm

KOBE will take Marbury in place of Kidd, Riley never saw a big he couldn’t motivate,
Stephen Jackson is the ? If GSW don’t do well in the playoffs …shit happens!

10 Peaceman March 24, 2008 at 9:54 pm

If we were tanking….it sure looked legit!

11 PaulNoize March 24, 2008 at 9:58 pm

i agree Peace….i think stranger things have happened. Yes, i am sure he makes extra money in endorsements. Yes, sadly, he needs access to SLOAN. And yes, i DO BELIEVE that he has the heart of a little kid in him who wants to COME HOME AND WIN!

But that’s it. So put those three things in a bucket, and how much is it worth? A million? Five? Ten? TWENTY? This is probably gonna be his last eight figure guaranteed contract, so his whole career kind of comes down to this negotiation, from an earnings perspective. If he’s a guy who takes care of his money, lives nice but modest, he probably doesn’t need the extra bank as much as he needs comfort & stability here in NYC. i think it’s a longshot, but i’d love to see him follow his heart, refuse to negotiate any sign & trades, and sign here as a free agent – costing the Knicks NOTHING!

That would go a long way towards solidifying frontcourt roles for next season.

12 Orange and Blue March 24, 2008 at 10:01 pm

Knicks got plenty in the tank tonight!

Premium fuel for the tank with this turd of a performance.

Damn this misery better sure as hell yield something goo!

13 Peaceman March 24, 2008 at 10:02 pm

Shit we lost tonight ..and it’s funny as hell! I don’t give a shit!!! LOL
This has to be a first!

14 Peaceman March 24, 2008 at 10:09 pm

Detroit plays beautiful basketball. Intelligent. It’s nice to watch that style. Just beat a hot Phoenix team.

Our team is so far away from that level of play.

16 knicksdefense March 24, 2008 at 10:23 pm

“if we were tanking it sure looked legit”

The knicks have not shown me this season an ability to win basketball games.

The Knicks have not shown me this season an ability to compete in the NBA.

So if they were tanking, they were tanking during training camp when we predicted 47 wins, tanking during preseason when I drove to boston to see them get blown out by 50, and tanking all throughout this season when die hards were having problems sleeping at night because this knicks team has been causing nightmares for its fans.

i bleed orange and blue like most of you.

But i have no loyalty to Isiah Thomas, not now, not ever. After the past four years, are you kidding me?

Isiah Thomas needs to get out of NYC immediately.

I’m sick and tired of this crap. Remove those responsible for the losing and gut the team, spare no one!

If Isiah got to send each and every Layden player to what he thought was siberia (the irony being that a handful of them won titles after distancing themselves from Isiah Lord Thomas) the incumbant defacto leader should have the same freedom to expunge Isiah scrubs from the MSG home team locker room.

Get rid of this arrogant snob Isiah Thomas already, I’m sick of him and his bull. Cousins guised as Knicks fans should start saveisiah.com, because to defend the knicks franchise means to remove this jerk once and for all.

James Dolan is an evil son of a gun to do this to knicks fans. move on now, quit torturing your fan base. Quit being so damn selfish Dolan. There are many knicks fans who are much older than Isiah Lord Thomas, how about helping them see this team win again in this lifetime?

17 Bronxboy in Md March 24, 2008 at 10:27 pm

Did the Knicks play tonight? Damn, I didn’t know…..honest engine.

I guess I’m in “tank mode” as a fan…..

18 Bronxboy in Md March 24, 2008 at 10:29 pm

LMAO @ 64…Nowhere man…..ROFL!!

Peaceman, you stupid!!!

19 PaulNoize March 24, 2008 at 10:30 pm

LOL, i hear you KD, i think it’s very possible we see the whole cast back next year….Isiah, Walsh getting his back, Marbury pretending all is well…..Zach & Eddy promising that things will be different this time around. With another rook in tow….maybe a real nice one if we keep up our current mojo. =)

20 knicksdefense March 24, 2008 at 10:32 pm

#64: no thank you. the last thing I want to do is see this guy’s face after watching two hours of non-competitive Knicks basketball.

cut the cord. we aren’t moving forward, we’re moving backwards.

21 Bronxboy in Md March 24, 2008 at 10:35 pm

@ KnicksD..

I feel your passion and your pain bruh….

I don’t know what Isiah has on Dolan, or what Dolan’s vision is in regards to running this team, but obviously fielding a quality product is not one of them.

I’ve said it since mid-season, when it was evident we were going no where (thanks Peace) fast, this team needed a new voice, a new leader…..that Isiah had to go.

I feel even stronger about that now.

22 Mike March 24, 2008 at 11:01 pm

When I read that Isiah talks to Jimmy every day, but Isiah’s own players say that they hear nothing from him (like Eddy did a month or two ago, saying Thomas never spoke to him during practice or otherwise about his play)…it tells me he just might stick around, even though he couldn’t care less about improving the team.

He couldn’t care less, and he doesn’t know how, even if he did. He’s collecting his money, and nothing else matters to him. He knows whatever value his name might once have had is gone, so what else is there? Money.

I think the only way Isiah’s leaving, is if Stern has threatened some serious kind of retribution against the Knicks. Otherwise, Dolan’s dumb enough to keep him.

23 Peaceman March 24, 2008 at 11:10 pm

You guys have to find someone to blame! How about we plain out SUCK?
If your bitching about Zeke now…and you know he ain’t going NOWHERE…
lets just look forward to the Draft! None of you guys were bitching at Zeke last year!!!!
Like BARF says …you gotta play the blame game! Lets just try to get better! No way we are this bad
next year…even if Dross was coaching!!!!

24 Peaceman March 24, 2008 at 11:11 pm

ARTEST 2008-2009 or BUST!

25 Steady March 24, 2008 at 11:24 pm

KF_L–ya’ll know the Love is gone until the draft.

26 Steady March 24, 2008 at 11:32 pm

Even that baritone kid on BIIM said good bye–he retired from the band. I saw them in DC in Jan at a gala dinner. That’ll teach us fans to preview our heros for 47 wins next year. Monty can’t be trusted on none of his Jibber Jabber and Jabberwocky. He better pull a nice card from the deck come the draft and none of these Jokers he’s been tossin’.
