Hawks @ Knicks

by knicksdefense on March 16, 2008

Looking forward to seeing the kids play tomorrow, Chandler can shoot if given the opportunity to find his rhythm, and Morris has good footwork for a big, if he’s allowed to step off the bench and into the game.

Hawks were a solid athletic team without Bibby, a better team with him, because Bibby is the kind of guard who gets his teammates going.

Defenders,
Did you know the Bball version of the Baseball’s Mendoza line is called the Crawford line. It explains the number of games played without having made a playoff appearance. It stands at .307. What a SHAME. Still, he collects the coins so I’d be cloaked with the Veil of Hypocrates if I took a stand to further disparage. He’s a Knickerbocker and on my team.

@ Lives, post #45..

I guess that’s the reason. Maybe I’ll just assist as a consultant, for a small percentage of the winnings….lol

3 Steady March 16, 2008 at 6:57 pm

Zbo doing the passive agressive act tonight. Folks must be chomping at the bit to move him this summer.

As I imagined – all you can do is resort to attack mode. Sorry, but what amounts to “you stupid” ain’t exactly a rebuke to be taken seriously.

It’s all good. It must be nice to imagine yourself so formidable. Yet, in my experience, people who really are, don’t feel the need to beat their chest and yell about it so much. Genuinely beautiful women don’t talk about their looks. Seriously rich people don’t talk about money. And really smart people don’t feel the need of reminding others.

Bronxboy…I sent you 3 more invites…make it work!
We are gonna Kick some ass! I have a bracket minus the play in game,
I smell blood!!!!

TRANE take a Train….or go under one!

@ Steady,

I’m glad you took the high road on that last post in regards to Craw. It’s not his fault he’s been on rebuilding teams his entire career.

We all know in the right situation, he can turn a team that’s “this close” into a championship squad.

8 Steady March 16, 2008 at 7:04 pm

Lives,
Re #45 and Knight–True dat and thus I can’t see how this situation goes on for a full season next year. He’s so volatile and having the rest of the talking heads on guard not to piss him off or trigger a live disagreement/blow-up takes away from the finished product seen by the audience. I’m certain we’re not the only smart pink-eyed mofos in America looking at this false chemistry exercise.

Bronx MD,
It may not be too late. You can always fill my whole bracket. I saw 2 college games this year. :-)

Maybe I’m too hard on Chandler…but he just doesn’t
seem to have the WOW factor! I think he may lift too much
affecting his offense!

@ Peace..

You’re sending me the same links….but don’t despair, see post #52.

11 Bronxboy in Md March 16, 2008 at 7:12 pm

Has Randolph Morris played yet? if not, then why????

12 Steady March 16, 2008 at 7:13 pm

Nah Bronx, it’s about steadiness and being a real fan instead of a hypocrit hatin’ on a guy with God-given talent who’s doing things that I could not do. It tickles me when I read guys who jump on blogs and type about pros who suck and meanwhile they’re watching in the stands or never, ever laced them up. Most importantly, he’s on my favorite home team.

Ok Bronxboy…just sent you another one..this one should be Money!
Check your email and get back to me!

14 Steady March 16, 2008 at 7:17 pm

Peacemen,
Looks like WilChan got a PLAYBK at practice. It has no O in it.
Monty popped off to the MSM sayin’ that they want to see his D and rebounding ’til the end of the season. Looks like the script is well written.

15 Peaceman March 16, 2008 at 7:20 pm

Bronxboy..Steady is in and I sent you both the same invite..I sent you 2 more !!!
Get it right, I want you to share the 5 mill as we all sip Cordon Blue on some cruise ship! LOL

16 Peaceman March 16, 2008 at 7:21 pm

Where’s LEE? Dross is gonna be blogginn like the devil!!!!

17 Steady March 16, 2008 at 7:21 pm

Monty’s giving the “Coaching to Lose” vibes tonight. DLee and Balk sit while JJeff misses lay-ups and tip-in rebounds and WilChan goes 0-5 FG.

WE need this game…lets have a great 3rd quarter!!!!!

19 Lives In New Jersey, Loves New York March 16, 2008 at 7:27 pm

Rose announced the end of the season. Clyde says it’s over. Confirmation comes in forty minutes. I guess summer league prep is now. I am sad but I guess there is always next year. . . . . .

20 Peaceman March 16, 2008 at 7:28 pm

I’ll tell you what..after listening to Bobby Knight today,
I believe he can coach the Knicks and Zeke moves back to GM!

21 Lives In New Jersey, Loves New York March 16, 2008 at 7:28 pm

Oh, LGK.

22 Lives In New Jersey, Loves New York March 16, 2008 at 7:29 pm

Knight is crazy. He woould throw a chair at JD’s media policy.

23 Peaceman March 16, 2008 at 7:29 pm

LIVES…EXPLAIN>>>PLEASE????

24 Lives In New Jersey, Loves New York March 16, 2008 at 7:29 pm

But then again, it would be so much fun watching him call out the media-idiots.

25 Lives In New Jersey, Loves New York March 16, 2008 at 7:31 pm

Explain what? My sadness at how Isiah seems to be coaching this as a throwaway or how crazy Knight is?

26 Steady March 16, 2008 at 7:36 pm

I just remember Pittino trying to get the vets to play D and press. They just laughed at him and were mostly recalcitrants. New York was respectable and there were one less Lone-Rogue-Ref back then. The script was less scripted. Not sure the Knight style works at the pro level. It definitely would do much about changing the culture of the place. But who is IT to talk about what culture the place should have with the body of work displayed thus far. I’m just bloggin’.

Lives we ain’t quit shyt! Say it ain’t so!

28 Peaceman March 16, 2008 at 7:42 pm

Who is ROSE to annouce anything but how to shoot a good looking AIRBALL!

29 Lives In New Jersey, Loves New York March 16, 2008 at 7:43 pm

We’ll see Peace, but we need this game for that tie breaker. What happens when Morris fouls out? What will Zeke do to put us in a position to win this game? Atlanta sucks.

30 Peaceman March 16, 2008 at 7:43 pm

DOLAN would lift his Media policy with Knight!
Hell he would invite more Media!!!!!! WORD!

31 Lives In New Jersey, Loves New York March 16, 2008 at 7:45 pm

Now see, you don’t play for most of the season and you can’t find the time to practice some freakin’ free throws. You gotta be kidding me.

32 Peaceman March 16, 2008 at 7:46 pm

Morris out…big + for us! We will win here now!

33 Lives In New Jersey, Loves New York March 16, 2008 at 7:46 pm

Mardy replaces Morris. Peace what is that?

34 Lives In New Jersey, Loves New York March 16, 2008 at 7:49 pm

Peace, Lives is mentally preparing for that posting vacation that seems to be approaching at break-knee speed. Perhaps I will find a Tiger Woods blog so I can post about some winning. (LOL)

35 Peaceman March 16, 2008 at 7:49 pm

Come on Knicks …we need this BADD!!!!!!!

36 Steady March 16, 2008 at 7:50 pm

Miami on a full tank running with Dallas. And they had the diesel there too now they’re just unleaded.

KFLL

37 Peaceman March 16, 2008 at 7:50 pm

Lives that Tiger blog is gonna have to wait until late April!

38 Lives In New Jersey, Loves New York March 16, 2008 at 7:50 pm

I expect DVJ to come on like Sandman at the Apollo and sweep all our dreams away. Jumpin and laughing and cheering.

39 Peaceman March 16, 2008 at 7:52 pm

Crawford has had a big rest…please take over the 4th!!!!!!!
Let Mardy run the point!

40 Lives In New Jersey, Loves New York March 16, 2008 at 7:58 pm

O’k Peace. Twelve minutes to go. I’ve got a feeling that you and me are more intense about winning this quarter than 3/5ths of the Knicks on the floor.

41 Peaceman March 16, 2008 at 7:58 pm

I don’t care if Crawford shoot 30 times this quarter, RIDE HIM
AND LETS GET THI WIN!!!!!! Shoot Crawford Shoot! Bring in Nate
and let it fly!!!!!!! FUCK ATL!!!!!!!

42 Lives In New Jersey, Loves New York March 16, 2008 at 7:59 pm

Well the KnickCityDancers are still intense.

43 Steady March 16, 2008 at 7:59 pm

Crawford has taken a total of 11 shots. If he’s tired, it’s only of being called JChuck or Crawful.

44 Lives In New Jersey, Loves New York March 16, 2008 at 8:00 pm

Crawford should jack it up.

45 Lives In New Jersey, Loves New York March 16, 2008 at 8:04 pm

Well apparently MArdy is practicing.

46 Steady March 16, 2008 at 8:07 pm

Integrity is clearly not a part of the IT-era NYK if it ever was. Maybe Coach can educate to the contrary. Obvious is an understatement.

47 Steady March 16, 2008 at 8:08 pm

From Feraless with Jet Li–To Compete is to win.

48 Lives In New Jersey, Loves New York March 16, 2008 at 8:10 pm

Jeffries is the featured offensive player. Peace, help me believe that this is not the absolute end?

49 Steady March 16, 2008 at 8:13 pm

At your home court and guys from the away team are making slam dunks, pirouettes, stylin’ and profilin’. What is that culture about? And the culprit sits.

KFLL

50 Peaceman March 16, 2008 at 8:14 pm
