yo, just wanted to say Go Giants and wish everyone a fun superbowl today. I’m not really a football guy, but I do think New York deserves some glory so I’ll be rooting for the home team today and hope that we can overcome that 12 point spread that vegas is predicting right about now.
Let me know what time the barbecue starts so I can stop by for a plate. If you see a green honda civic in your driveway that’s just starburyfan saying whats up! Enjoy the game homies.

Right on KnicksD!
Here’s someone linking the Giants and Knicks in a not so pleasant light.

New York Times article on the wear and tear Crawford is experiencing in the absence of an actual point gaurd.

thanks for the news updates b&b
crazy to think of jerome asking for a trade.
could it be he’s wanted to play this whole time?
nah…
we could use a shot blocker right now…
First of all, “Let’s Go Giants!”That said, I’m surprised that after being as critical of the defensive effort we’ve had in the near past, as I have been, that I turn out to be the optimist here.I see a young team that is short handed, but is playing hard on both ends of the floor.Sure they need some size, a point and some leadership, but they could have won every one of those games besides the Jazz game.”Oh ye of little faith”, all a coach can do is create a plan and ask for 100% effort.IT may have made a few strategic errors, but those guys are playing hard and that is worthy of respect. If everyone settles down in their role and continues to play hard, the door will be kicked in.The commercial says adversity doesn’t build character, it reveals it.I like what I see! With Steph gone, Q really should step up as the vet to show the way.And if Eddie really wants to make a contribution, no matter how small, the table is set.Effort and hard work always pays off in this game, every game, including the game of life.Once these guys learn how to win they’ll be okay.Changes will have to be made to get better, but these guys will be fine. They have character, will and intelligence. That can carry you a long way if you develop trust in one another.Enjoy the game.LGK
I’m not a betting man…but I would bet my
lungs the Giants do a lot more than cover that spread!
B&B
Mike Lupica is a ROCK STAR!
Well, i’m a Jets fan…..so a Giants/Patriots Superbowl is about as depressing an event as i can imagine. At least there’ll be commercials!
JVG is funny on the Pistons/Mavs telecast, saying he’s been working out three times a week and is up to benching 80 pounds twelve times. Jackson briefly made everyone stammer by saying an investigation should be held over the Gasol trade….it was a bit of an awkward moment, and Jax didn’t push it further. But he did get it out there on national network TV, good for him.
Peaceman
You’re probrably right.
It shows no class what Lupica puts out. This Knick’s team bust its ass out on the West coast but can’t avoid the goose egg. Still it’s not like they were getting blown out every night and not competing. Like Tman and Lives were saying most of those games could have gone our way and then we’d be talking about a gritty Knick team. Mike Lupica probrably just looks at the record, and doesn’t even care enough to assess the Knicks i terms of the progress they’ve made from the begining of the year.
KnicksD,
This is a post from a prior thread responding to one of your post about the current “bad” crop of Knicks.
“Good Point KnicksD
Statesman made a point about the team developing in stages, and that’s why his prediction for this season was in the low 40- I believe around 43 wins.
What we all failed to see this season, due to various factors, was how much and how far a step back this team would take.
There are so many reasons why this happened, and that is perhaps a seperate topic for a separate thread on the forum.
The Knicks did tur a corner about over a week or two ago from being a terrible team to being a bad team.
They are in may games but as you say can’t close them out, that is what seperates the wheat from the chaffe, or the cream of the crop from the rest of the field.
But at least the Knicks are not now at the very bottom of the barrel, as Mike Lupica, and those other vultures would like us to believe them to be.
Have fun at your superbowl party.
I’ll be doing likewise bruh!”
Go Giants!!!
Having a Superbowl party……..hope to forget about our Knicks for a day.
Paulnoize,
I’m also a Jets fan
But I’m cheering the Giants on this time b/c New York sports has been reeling this year, and Boston has been shitting all over the NY and the Tri State.
KnicksD,
Have you looked into any of my “just blogging” trade proposals in the prior thread?
I hypothetically got the Knicks in a three way trade with the Nets and Mavs, and also set up a hypo of with the Knicks Mavs or the Knicks and Griz straight up.
Let me Know what you think.
OBTW
After watching Knicks Rewind, after missing yesterday’s game, I recall seeing Z-Bo passing to a Lee as he cut into the paint.
We had suggested that on the thread prior to the Knicks Sonics game.
Does anyone think the Knicks look into this blog from time to time?
Yes they do B&B! Trust me on that!
I’m still out with the flu bug here in Nastyville. This stuff is funky, nationwide, and just to be fair, I gave it to my wife. Anyway, I’ll be back soon. Just need a short break to recuperate and will check in as I can. KD, I didn’t know you were out sick buddy so sorry for pushing for those new posts.
Hold it down.
Yeah, i know two people with the bug Jay Bee, and one of ‘em has had it for a month!
i’m surprised that no one has theorized that its the bird flu with news being suppressed by the so-called MSM!!!!
That avion flu was wrecking havoc in Asia. I hope that’s not the strain that’s going on around here.
Geez! I’m now scurred to blog for fear of getting flu like symptoms.
LOL!
Aight Go Giants Go NY Go Ny Go!
PS…
Anyone read the NYPost bit in which Zeke makes mention of needing a point gaurd, and that the absence of one has adversely affected his team this season.
That article could be read to be an indirect commentary on Marbury’s inability to contribute to the Team and team play this season, and also an indirect no show of support for Mardy Collins.
Have fun yall!
The Ford commercial at exactly 6 30 was fire!!!!!!!!!!
That Audi is hot!!!
All the commercials are good so far.
How much is it to get the spots again?
Isn’t it like $3,000,000 for 30 seconds?
2 Pats hurt on last play.
Go Giants!!!
yeah, i think with everyone calling for a shotblocker and point guard – it is, in a way, pretty much saying that Jerome James and Mardy Collins are busts that need immediate replacement.
Weren’t they brought in precisely to provide shotblocking and pure passing, respectively?
GIANTS!!!!!!!! YOU HEAR THAT BOSTON!!!!! LOL
The NY Giants were a Wild Card team! Hope & Faith are Eternal!
HAHA, couldn’t have happened to a nicer bunch of assholes.
Eff the Patriots, and Future Junior Senator from Massachucets Tom Brady (D).
WE SHOCKED THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GO GIANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
I’ll bet those arrogant azz Patriots wished they would have settled for the field goal in the third quarter instead of going for it on 4th and 14….
Peaceman
“The NY Giants were a Wild Card team! Hope & Faith are Eternal!”
Right on the money!
No Boston Triple Crown this year.
Fuck Boston, and their cocky tudes!
Let’s hope this rubs off on our boyz in the Orange and Blue.
Go Ny Go NY GO!
KFLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Starting tomorrow it will rub off on our Knicks B&B!
After being a wittness to the biggest upsset ( No diss to Broadway Joe and the Jets)
It’s the Knicks turn to jump out on a run and have NY Shock the world again!
Tomorrow night they should show the Giants up on the Knick board!
Does “TOM” need tissues? LOL LOL!!!!!!!!
“Does “TOM” need tissues?”
ROFLMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Every dog has its day!
The Knicks will have their day!
And I believe I will live to see it!
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Does Tom need tissues?? HFSLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Peaceman you’re a trip!!! NYG BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FUCK BOSTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!
NOW, THAT’S WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT!!!!!!
GIANTS — STANDING TALL
CHEATERS NEVER WIN, WINNERS NEVER CHEAT
THE ’72 FLIPPERS ARE STILL THE GOLD STANDARD (they just collectively exhaled)
BACK-TO-BACK MANNINGS. . . GOOD WORK ARCHIEKINS
BRADY AIN’T SMILING NOW . . . COULDN’T GET RID OF THE PLAX
(o’k, maybe with that girlfriend Brady has, he is smiling, I mean really smiling, but it’s not about being a Superbowl Champ. . . Haha Ha.)
NOW WATCH THE MSM FORGET WHAT KIND OF IDIOTS THEY ARE AND HOW THEY TREATED COUGHLIN (“shoulda been fired”) and MANNING (“shoulda been benched”)
THE KNICKS ARE INSPIRED, NOW GET THEM SOME HELP
(Great reads TMAN. B&B, you know what’s good. A Change is coming; a name change is coming. I may be high on the Giants right now, but mock my word, watch the Knicks give Boston a run for their money before the All-Star break, especially since Paul Pierce decided to act like the jerk he is when he was at the Garden. He shakes hands with the Giants in the middle of the middle of the game to mock the Knicks and show up the home team. Q should have taken a three game suspension and way laid Pierce. LET’S GO KNICKS)
That Jerome James piece is weird. It doesn’t fit the general Knick media relations profile. Something is up. I have no idea what it is, but Big Snaxxs simultaneously praising Zeke and talking about being traded sounds like advertisement. He’s not playing but he is ready to play. Quite frankly, Zeke should give him some minutes. As everyone keeps saying, we need a shot blocker. What’s wrong with giving him 5-10 minutes to play defense in the zone. Then those at the top of the zone can stay with the shooters.
I understand that Mardy has deficiencies, but he is a Knick for now. He has shown that with playing time he is serviceable and can help us win games. Allowing Mardy to play is like giving us two players, because it gives us our old 40 Per Center Jamal back, in place of the exhausted Jamal. Even the MSM overcomes their overall incompetence by recognizing the importance and impact of fatigue on Jamal’s game. I’m sure Stevie Wonder AND Ray Charles see it too. Why not you. . . Zeke? And if you do. . . play Mardy 5 to 10 minutes so Jamal can sit unitl you get a point.
No Luke Ridnour. I’d rather bring back the turnover machine, Stevie Francis. Mr. Giveback would certainly be a boost right about now. Don’t panic and get just any point. Shoot send Marbury to a hypnotist with Curry and put him back out on the floor. No Luke Ridnour. Might as well call back Jared Jordan.
LGK
O’K folks have a great day, I don’t think I’ll be back until late or able to do pre-games until after the break. But if I can steal the time, I will. Peace. Yeaaaaa GIANTS.
