Hope you are enjoying time with your friends, family and loved ones right about now. Wishing peace, love and harmony for all the people of the United States, and all the nations of the world.
Happy birthday to my brother Bilz.

Happy holidays to you and Robin and please do keep up all the good work.
Happy holidays to everyone else and despite a downright miserable season, the best part about it is that I have had the sincere pleasure, honor, and privilege of meeting some passionate and knowledgeable Knick fans… REAL knick fans. This KnicksDefense site and so many posters here are the very definition of “silver lining”…. not counting the trolls of course.
Peace and Blessings!!!

If you haven’t already checked out MODI’s open letter to Isiah on COSELLOUT, please do. I especially liked that “plan A” starting five, so somebody tell Isiah if you know him!

Best of the season to all you bloggers here at Knicksdefense. This site has true Knickerbocker fans!
Absolutely loved the Dickens reference (#204)!
Looking forward to some motivated players for the match-up with Orlando.
Go Knicks!

Happy Holidays to all and here’s to us making the playoffs THIS YEAR!!
I don’t know how many games we’re behind but it’s nothing compared to how
many games we have left.
I do want to play for the draft since it’s so good this year but if we can
sneak in the playoffs and surprise a team or maybe even (hold my breath) 2
I would take that over the draft. We would be giving our players some much
needed playoff experience and it would show them what they are capable of.
I think we should come out with some more energy the next game with the line
up changes. I also think MODI has a point about Steph. Steph would be fantastic
in a line up where there aren’t that many scoring options….especially low post
scoring options. Steph, Jamal, Jeffries, Zach and Lee is the starting 5 I would
run with to start the game. If Steph doesn’t play then we start Nate in place of
Steph. I really hope Zeke doesn’t do some dumb shit like start Collins. That would
only prove what all of us here were saying.
Blue and Black…it’s always good to have some fun when your favorite player comes
to town. He’s gone now so it’s back to Orange and Blue for me.
I hope this shake up works for Isiah’s sake.

From the Magical Return of Stephon ==
“The Knicks are taking two days off from practicing. Thomas gave them off yesterday and they won’t practice today, just flying tonight. “It’s Christmas,” Thomas said of the break. Curry said the team needs the time away from basketball.”
Isn’t six out of the last eight games away from basketball enough time.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++
Stephon in his Jack Nicholson voice “I’m Back.” I hope he starts to feel better, but none of you can be serious that anyone in the state described by Spermy Bermy in the context of this team and time makes the Knicks better. No way.
Modi, you’re agreeing with O&B but every comment I have made about Stephon has been predicated on his mental health not his skill set.

Merry Christmas gentle folks.
Portland has now run off 10 in a row after trading away their “best” player.
Does trading Zach sound so stupid at this point, as to when I initially made that statement?
We need team players that fosters team chemistry. Not numbers guys.
That includes Crawford also. Who should be out offensive weapon off the bench.
I repeat.
Trade Zach for a passing point and a defensive player.
Hire a coach. The team needs a new voice.
Have a great day guys!

Cooleyhigh,
Now I know you know what’s good. I also know that you know how we scroll. You don’t get to give yourself a Knickname–that privilege is reserved for BARF unless I get out of my lane and go un-Steady. I’m certain he will take your suggestion here and look at your body of work/posts and then come up with something. I know BARF. He, too, knows what’s good.

Happy Holidays guys. I want to thank you KD and all of you for this haven from the madness that exists in the other Knick blogs. I was beginning to think the world had gone mad and that people no longer thought for themselves. This is an oasis. No blogging for me tonight, I’m on QT patrol. We need a win though, LGK!!! LGSWs!!!

I might have mentioned it on the other string, but if not…
Happy Holidays Fellas!!
Just finished watching the Lakers dust off the Suns. Kobe was, well, his usual self….but the player that’s making them hit on all eight cylinders is Trevor Ariza.
Why the hell did Zeke trade him and Penny (expiring contract) for Francis?
What was he thinking?
He’s EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED NOW…..A “three” that defends and goes and gets it….that doesn’t demand the ball.
(just slammed my fist on my desk)
Anyways, I vented…I feel better now.
Think I’ll have a shot of Henny….for the fellas!!
Enjoy the rest of the evening.

Bronx,
I’ll pour my boy Remy. It was the HOF ABS Coach who insisted on that move. Miami is going for the Powerball. We turn the corner tomorrow. There’s a perfect storm in Orlando.

Good AM Defenders! I know this may sound CRAZY, but I ma so glad the THREAD is slow and creeping, because that means OUR DEFENDER FAMILY IS SPENDING TIME WITH THE PEOPLE THEY LOVE AND CARE FOR THE MOST…And, without a doubt that is so important. NEVER TAKE ANYTHING OR ANYONE FOR GRANTED. Especially Family or the power of the Master of Mysteries. I truly love the NEW YORK KNICKS, but I love my La Familia more…THEIR MY BLESSING
Steady As It Goes, you know I know whats good. Not because I’m so smart or smooth (well, I am smooth…LOL), but I’ve been blessed. I used that handle yesterday, because OUR BROTHER DVJ, gave it to me the other day, and it was my way of giving some love back to DVJ, who’s Black Mamba did his thing this weekend in NYC and in Phoenix…But, I knew you would snag it, so that was also my way of pulling up from the Remy so Bronx and I could get our Doubles (Don’t let the SMOOTH taste fool ya),and TOAST to a NEW DIRECTION. LMAO! I also want you know MY BRUH from ANOTHER SPLENDID MOTHER, that I have been praying for you and your Other Half regarding her recent lost. Always remind HER my Bruh, that God is her refuge and strength…As my Great-Granny use to say, “MY GOD IS ABLE.”
Lastly DEFENDERS, it is game day, and you know how we roll…GO KNICKS GO KNICKS GO KNICKS GO KNICKS GO KNICKS…
Orlando is a much improved TEAM and I have enjoyed watching them play this year. This kid D HOWARD is BEAST and he is only going to get better. What is so sad, when you comapre his progress to ECITY’S, it is amazing how this younger Kat has developed so much quicker than ECITY aka MR. ONE DIMENSIONAL…It is all about HEART! And, I’ll just leave it at that.
BLOGZILLA/KNICKDEFENSE/STARBURYFAN, you are the MAN…
I’m Audi!

Cooleyhigh,
Re #24–My bag! DVJ has been dishin’ some nasty skip passes (a la #21) and I’ve been letting them sail OB (out of bounds). Still, Statesman coined him as the resident Fantasy GM plus, he’s earned the right here to coin you as our resident TD Jakes. Your body of word most definitely supports it. I co-sign on the moniker and will be sure BARF hears about in the next Blogzilla Thread.
I also knew for shizzle that you were out there pouring with the Force MDs–”Love is a House and you’ve got the key”. Once Dr. Bronx poured that Henny, Dr. Harlem passed the Courvoisier, you know our boy Remy had to be called into the party. Sounds like a nice intro to the 1/18/08 beatdwon on 7th Street, NW inch Allah.
I will resend the open letter as a reminder–thanks again for that very moving minute sermon.
