Nets@Knicks

by knicksdefense on December 15, 2007

Very encouraging signs last night. I’m serious, I’m looking beyond the win-loss aspect of the game. Coach Thomas was experimenting with the lineup, exactly what we had been hoping for, and Jared Jeffries is showing he can contribute in Quentin Richardson’s absence (get well soon Q) there was even a Wilson Chandler sighting! Looks to me like the kid can play, hope he gets more PT to prove it. Fred, Zach and Jamal took most of the shots and as a result scored most of the points. Despite Fred and Jamal both playing over 40 minutes, the starting backcourt only totaled two turnovers. That is a world of improvement in itself. Improved stability and simplicity should be what the knicks strive for with each game.

The defense still sucks, but at least we are starting to cut down on the turnovers. The Knicks got blocked 15 times and yet only blocked 2 shots the whole game. How did Hinrich have three blocks?

Mardy still can’t shoot, but at least he’s getting PT. Nothing worse for these young players than rotting on the bench. And with Mardy, you know he’s still going to run the offense and make plays defensively, despite not being a factor when it comes to scoring the ball. A lot of these guys just need time coming back from injuries. I don’t think Lee is 100% himself yet either, nor is Q or Jeffries.

Two best shots of the night for me were the Jeffries three pointer and the high-arching shot Zach hit near the end of the fourth from far out on Ben Wallace. Zach has range. Hopefully Balk or Lee is in the game to clean up the long rebound just in case. Best defensive play was Balk’s block at the top of the key in the fourth quarter.  Was it me or was that dunk by chandler something the team sorely needs?  We need some above the rim players in the game.  Our PF and C do not often operate in that stratosphere.

Looking forward to tonight’s game against the nets at the garden. If you remember in the preseason match against the Nets on October 26th, Jeffries was dominating the first five minutes of the game before he went down with the injury (was it Richard Jefferson that he banged knees with?), so hopefully tonight he can avoid the injury but continue the recent improved play. Nets have their three-headed monster back in terms of being healthy, so it should be a good one.

It is sad what is happening to Eddy Curry. He’s one of the nicest kids on the team, and the Randolph trade basically put him in a position to fail. Thanks Glen Grunwald. The way I see it, at the NBA talent level, you could give almost anyone 20 shots a game and they’ll average close to 20 points–if not more. What’s more important is this: at the end of the game, is your team is in a position to win? I’ve heard it said recently that good teams find a way to win and bad teams find a way to lose. This was another game we let slip away, but we can still become a good team with nearly 60 games left in the season.

Free Wilson Chandler!

Free Renaldo Balkman!

Starters played well tonight, especially Crawford and ZBo and much better showing from Curry. Win is
much needed, but alot of ground needs to be made up. There is still time and I am encouraged by last night’s
comeback as well as tonight’s game. LGK

good win tonight guys. i’m really glad they got one under the belt. eddy curry with the block! no minutes for wilson chandler, few for renaldo or jeffries, but a win is a win. our three-man attack was better than theirs tonight.

yo check this out, remember keon clark, the shot blocker from a few years ago? he says he never played a game sober. isn’t that something? he was drinking at halftime?

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3156390

i hope he gets help with his problem, a sickness that hurts so many, but it really surprised me that he could slip under the radar like that in the pros for so many years and nobody ever mentioned it before anywhere. its just very hard for me to believe. makes me wonder what else they’re allowing or not screening for… just bloggin’

This was a solid win. We got the lead fairly early in the game and kept it throughout. Learning how to win games consistently is a process. Games like this help you to see what it takes to be successful. LGK!

Also pathetic re: MSM – trying to imply that the Knicks won because the Nets were “tired” from battling the Cavs the night before even though the Knicks played last night also. I guess we also won because Boston Snackbar didn’t play. Whatever!

KnicksD @ post # 107….

And who was it that vehemently stated that Crawford wasn’t a starter in this league?

I believe it was African, I’m not sure.

With Jamal’s emergence as a pg (if need be)Steph is gonna have to toe the line and not “upset the waters”, for he is highly expendable.

Which is not necessarily a bad thing.

12 Peaceman December 16, 2007 at 10:52 am

LOL, Out of all our beat writers, Bermy is the only one to give the
Knicks credit for the win instead of crediting the Nets poor play!
Looking at Con’s Blog, Trane’s comments are pathetic! He’s not sure if he’s
happy about last nights win? Way to go Trane, your a real die hard!
Trane is not the guy you would ever want to watch your back. He’s a Pussy!
Claiming that this season is lost already? Bull! Here’s Why That’s Bull!

Lets give Boston, Detroit, and Orlando playoff spots! 59 games left and this
is why our season is a long way from over!

1.Toronto 14-10
2.Wizards 13-10
3.Pacers 12-12
4.Hawks 11-12
5.Bucks 10-13
6.Nets 10-14
7.76′S 10-14
8.Cav’S 10-14
9.Bulls 8-13
10.Charlotte 8-14
11. Miami 6-17

The Knicks are 7-16 but for anyone who knows anything about basketball
to say our season is over when a few wins will put us back into the mix
for one of the 5 playoff spots left if indeed Boston doesn’t fall apart
with injuries ( it’s already started with Allen) is not even remotely a
fan of anything! Man Up NY, we will continue to play one game at a time
until we are in the playoffs!

I hope two more transactions take place. I like the odds of both being reality!
1. Marbury accepts coming off the bench.
2. Artest is a Knick soon!

13 Peaceman December 16, 2007 at 11:10 am

@ Paulnoise,

@#147 last blog. Yes, next year is the 2008-2009 season!
And yes 2008-2009 Marbury’s contract is an expireing one!
You doubt your own post??????

14 DaVonn Jefferson December 16, 2007 at 11:32 am

Let’s not get crazy after last nights win.
It was a good victory but let’s leave it at that.

Isiah doesn’t know how to keep this team motivated.
He doesn’t know how to keep the pressure on these guys so they can go on a nice win streak.

We beat NJ (under 500 team)…now let’s just move on to the next game.
If we can lose to Seattle in our building…..beating the Net’s does nothing for me.

Good win last night though.

Means nothing if we lose tomorrow.

Marbury will be back tomorrow also for the Pacers.

15 Peaceman December 16, 2007 at 11:46 am

No Davonn,

Whats Crazy is people saying this season is over for the Knicks!
That is crazy shit! Last night was a different win! Being against Jersey
is the fact that that ERA of Net dominance over the Knicks is over!
That win will be our turning point!

16 DaVonn Jefferson December 16, 2007 at 11:48 am

I hope so Peaceman..I truly hope your right bro.
Was I the only one mad last night when the fans were chanting fire Isiah while we’re up 10 with a minute and a half to go?

Like I said….

17 Peaceman December 16, 2007 at 12:20 pm

Amen Davonn,

FUCK THOSE BIRDS!

way up!

Let it be Known that TRANE IS A PUSSY! Shit for Mommy Trane!

18 Trane December 16, 2007 at 12:20 pm

That?s right, Peace — you may be satisfied with your absurd predictions that the Knicks will win every game, but I?d like to see some respectability (and reality) return to the Garden. I figured that piece would trigger a reaction like yours. And yet, I thought it was an interesting and important issue to explore. It was genuinely troubling to write. If you?d read my piece carefully, you?d know I expressed enormous conflict over my reaction. Why? Because I didn?t want one lone win to be used as an excuse to maintain the status quo. If winning last night is used as justification to maintain the status quo . . . then, yes, I?m sorry they won. THAT is what I said. This team is in too much trouble. I realize you don?t want to recognize that. It?s your privilege. All week you predicted the Knicks would win every game. Now you think last night was the turning point. You CHOOSE optimism. That?s great. For you. Certainly with the East in such sorry shape, the Knicks have enough talent to make a run. Whether they will or not is a very different story. You grasp at any shred of positive play, yet ignore hours of ugly basketball. I’m sorry if I’m not convinced.

I?m curious, though — what was so threatening to you in what I wrote? Why get so defensive? Why the venom? I?ve never attacked you. I try to keep my posts about basketball unless I?m responded to hatefully. You talk about haters, but there?s more hate in your posts that I?ve read since Mark started getting banned.

Why can?t you respond to the issues I raised? Yes, they?re serious. It?s very difficult for a fan to be conflicted about his own team winning. But the point is, I have so little faith in this management team, that I believe they?ll spin the win to the teams? DISADVANTAGE. That would be a bad thing. That would hurt the team. THAT is what I don?t want to happen.

Also ? yes, I think the season is lost except to the extent it can begin to change directions and point toward a brighter future. There?s no hope of even sniffing 41 wins. Why in the world would we want on of those playoffs spots? For the moral victory? Forget that. Again, if you?d read my piece carefully you?d know I don?t recommend tanking the season. But I?m also against all-out campaigns to sneak into the playoff for the privilege of losing in the first round. I recommend playing for the future, and not worrying about the standings or the playoffs this year. I?d rather get a great player in the lottery. That?s my opinion. You want to discuss that? Or do you want to climb the jungle gym and call people bad names? Your call . . . You obviously take criticism of the Knicks/Isiah very personally ? as evidenced by the way you lash out. That?s too bad. That?s how playground punks act. Is that really who you want to be?

19 Peaceman December 16, 2007 at 12:37 pm

It’s called being a fan TRANE.

You are a BOO Bird! Fuck BOO BIRDS!

20 cooleyhigh December 16, 2007 at 1:02 pm

Defenders, GOOD PM!

The losing streak is over and OUR BELOVED KNICKS showed some heart and resolve last evening.
They could have tanked and come out flat and uninterested, but they played hard and much smarter last evening, and it produced a win over their neighbors in New Jersey.

Cetainly the insertion of Jones and Jeffries into the starting line-up has given US a defensive posture and presence early in games, so that is a positive, and it is starting to carry over throughout the game. They still have lapses during the course of a game but that is to be expected. ZBO is starting to expand his game a bit and the high low option is getting better as his passes are more crisp and on time. We still need better ball movement, but they are trying, so there are some encouraging signs.

I want to acknowledge and commend our Host, Peaceman, Jay Bee, Barf, DVJ, BRONX, Post-Up,
O & B, Syd, Folly, even Rush, for doing your darndest to keep the THREAD postive and encouraged and highly informed. GREAT JOB DEFENDERS! GREAT JOB!

LIVES, always good to read your posts, and more importantly, it is good to know you and yours are well.

I just want to holla out to my Brothers from other Mothers, Steady, St. George, Harlem, ANTI, and MODI to let them know that they are in my daily prayers, and wherever they are, I hope they are keeping it real, staying strong, and keeping the FAITH.

Enjoy your afternoon Defenders and I’ll chack back in a little later.

Good to CYA!
The Raptors and Celtics should be an interesting game!
Can’t wait to play the Pacers tomorrow night!

22 Orange and Blue December 16, 2007 at 2:37 pm

Good day defenders!

Cooleyhigh I am glad to see you back in the fray.

I am going to post an APB for African.

Have to give him respect for leading the charge on the Knicks Fix exodus!

Your still a co-captian here. But I must admit while Eddy Munster played well last night he’s still very much an enigma.
Only good and consistent plays on both sides of the ball will change that opinion of him.

With regard to Trane’s cotention regarding his indiference or perhaps even preference that the Knicks do not just barely make the cut and become an early out in the playoffs. Here’ my two cents.

Last year Orlando was an 8th seeded team that needed a late season charge to secure that last playoff seed.

Orlando was of course swept by the 1rst seeded Detroit Pistons.

But can you say that the playoff experience obtained from their 8th seeded early out has had no effect on the development of the currently 3rd seeded Orlando Magic Team of this season?

IMHO caveman er primitive opinion, reaching a goal, the playoffs being the Knicks stated goal this season, gives the team a sense that later goals set further down the line are not only feasible but also obtainable. Such goal orientation gives a team and it’s players something to strive for and perhaps moreso a reason to believe that a very bad early start can still be turned around.

Does anyone think that the current Orlando Magic team that was swept last year, hasn’t set higher goals which they are working to obtain this year that they might not have had had they not made the playoffs.

On a related subject, although this is very unlikely, who knows, perhaps the Knicks sneak in as an 8th seed and pull off one of those memorable 1rst round upsets.

I’m a die hard,… so untill it’s clearly out of reach I’m rooting for this team to work to accomplish the goals they set for themselves, as hard as they may seem to obtain currently.

Shout out to the Defenders family

Re: # 104 & 105 – Whenever someone tells me to forward this to everyone you know, I consider it spam and don’t even bother to view it. It’s probably his site and he’s just trying to get some hits by going to blogs and telling everyone there, “Hey, this is cool. Check it out!!”

25 Trane December 16, 2007 at 3:09 pm

O&B – you missed an even better counter-example to my post than Orlando: The Knicks themselves have the greatest run from the 8th spot in history, all the way to the finals.

But neither analogy is relevant. Certainly nobody imagines this Knicks team could catapult from the 8th spot to the finals. Nor are the Knicks in a similar situation to Orlando last year. We’re not about to sign an all-star free agent over the summer. And you may believe our center will have a break-out year next year . . . but my sense from reading this blog is that you’d be in the minority if you did. Hence, I don’t really think Orlando’s situation applies either.

And BTW – definitely not indifference. Frustration. Anger. And yes, I’d rather miss the playoff, and do better in the lottery, then make the playoffs for the privilege of being swept. Why? Because it’s better for the Knicks in the long run. That’s my opinion. I’m not rooting against the Knicks. I’m just saying we should be playing for the future – for the next 3-5 years and more – and not worry about standings/playoffs this year. Especially if a playoff spot this year – however unlikely – would hurt us down the road. That’s not good value.

26 Charles Follymacher December 16, 2007 at 4:09 pm

Knicks’ record over the last ten games? 3-7. An optimist sees that and says, “Hey, that’s the same record as the Nets! We’re matching them, we’re keeping up!” The pessimist (realist?) realizes that even with the Nets’ atrocious slide, they’re still three games up. Can we expect the Nets to continue sliding? Even Philly’s gone on a run and passed us. We need to go on a run NOW.

The gap doesn’t seem like much now, but I’m telling you the team needs to gather a real sense of urgency b/c it won’t stay like this. Teams are starting to gel, figuring out their identity for the season. Who are the Knicks?

The Knicks have a team where, outside of Zach (the Knicks’ Big Ticket?), you can’t really count on anyone having a real solid game, game in, game out. You just never know who’s gonna be hot on any particular night. I think Zeke’s still trying to choose his poison (looks like he’s leaning toward taking his chances with Crawford).

I know it’s still “early,” but for long-term confidence sake, this is the time to make a push, a run, lawd gimmie a three-game winning streak! To make the 7-win December I expected/hoped for at the beginning of the month, the Knicks need to win 5 of the remaining 6 games. I’ll settle for 3 out of the 6.

LGK!!

27 Orange and Blue December 16, 2007 at 4:52 pm

Follymach

I can’t disagree with you at all on your call for a sense of urgency from the Knicks.

Trane.

I see that you are spliting hairs, with regard to my Orlando analogy. I can respect that ability it is a good form of argumentative analysis. But my conjectural analogy wasn’t premised upon a strict comparison of development and acquisition of players on the Orlando team versus this New York Knick team. If that were the case, you would have noticed in the same blog I wrote that I also have serious doubts regarding the enigma that is Eddy Curry.

The gist of what I was saying is that to obtain a goal, IMHO, is something that is constructive and is to me a more favorable option than to promote the Knicks demise to the NBA cellar.

Most of us at this blog already acknowledge that the loosing is creating a sort of downward spiral. In addition that spiral is compounded by the negativity that permeates a generally negative fanbase and newsmedia. None of this can be good for the phsyce of the team or the players on it. As I see it what good would it be to prefer a team to loose, and not only loose but loose big time to the extent that discussions of a lottery pick becomes a point of discussion. For me that form of fandom is corrosive. It favors, the deterioration of a team sense of confidence, it’s belief that goals are obtainable, it favors the boobirds and calls for hysterical fan centered humiliation of players, it feeds into the predatory, wrecking ball style, New York sportsmedia.

In a sense that strategy champions despair and chaos over hope and redemption.

I am not the type of fan that prefers that path and that would actively call for it. Perhaps you are. And if so you know that this blog is not generally populated by those kinds of fans.

One last word. I recall you were the blogger who attempted to instigate the blog cancer Mark to come over to our beloved Knicksdefense for the purpose of removing him from your stomping grounds at Knicks Fix and Knicks Knation.

That one incident suggest to me that you would prefer to have ill omens and tidings visit others so that you can take a smooth ride on the A trane. It also suggest to me that you would wish the players on this Knicks team failure, despair, and ridicule so that can declare your fanhood when the sky is clear and no hardships for you as a fan abound.

Like it was said in Vanilla Sky…

“The sweet isn’t as sweet without the sour”

Here’s to hopefully seeing the sweet side of this team’s potential, and not wishing that the sour becomes a form of salt and or lemon juice on the wounds of the teams current tumultuous season.

Good win last night!!

Hopefully the Jason Kidd omen is broken and the Knicks are going to break out from here. The trick will be the insertion of Marbury tomorrow and whether Eddy can continue with his play last night. Good defensive play by the Knicks last night. And good ball movement. They seemed to have found a rhythm. Can they keep it going?

LGK

30 Orange and Blue December 16, 2007 at 5:09 pm

The defensive effort appeared to have improved from the end of the Knicks game against Chicago on Friday on throughout the teams game against the Nets.

I really hope that this trend becomes a fixture and mainstay b/c they will certainly to play both sides of the ball if they are going to make any type of run during the remainder of the season.

Marbury’s return should help since he can play some offgaurd and spell Crawford so that his jumper isn’t flat at the end of games.

I think Marbury’s presence would have certainly helped our cause against the Sixers and Seattle, which should have been wins for the Knicks.

Oh well.

O&B –

I, too, prefer hope and redemption over chaos. But I also prefer reality over fantasy. It’s fantasy to imagine this team making any kind of significant playoff run this year. I’ve never suggested tanking the year. I’m also optimistic, not pessimistic about this year – but in a different way from you. I think a lot can be gained from this year if it’s used as a stepping stone – if it supports a more solid foundation for the future. That’s why I say we should focus on the younger players – so they can gain experience and we can learn what we’ve got. I’ve simply stopped focusing on the spring of 2008. Instead, I’m thinking about what benefits the team more in the long run.

I don’t disagree with your point about the psychology benefits of winning. I believe – and have written – that there’s a lot to be said for “learning how to win.” But young players also learn to win by being in the game at the end, instead of pulling them. That’s the kind of thing I”m talking about. Let’em have the experience of being out there at crunch time, which a lot of coaches won’t do if the standings are all that matter.

Moreover, when I think about what would benefit this team most 3 years from now . . . I believe the team will be more successful in the long run by securing potential all-star talent in the lottery next summer . . . than whatever psychological benefits can be gained from a bottom spot in the playoffs and being swept in the first round. I think we need the talent. And to develop the talent we have.

Re, Mark: Yes, I challenged him to come here. For two reasons. 1) to expose him as the coward he is. But also, in his idiocy, he was including me as one of Isiah’s ardent defenders. So he was “debating” against things I’d never said and things I don’t believe in the least. I told him if he thought he could hold his own against those opinions . . . this is where he should do it. In no way was it done to sabotage this site. I respect what Starburyfan has built here. I think he knows that. I read and post here, just not with the regularity I do on the Fixer site.

You’re right that I was trying to rid the Fixer site of Mark, but I couldn’t care less about the Knation. Indeed, I made up the other screen name in order to engage him on the Knation site as a way of keeping him there. Marquette ’07 was my way of feeding the lost dog on the Knation site because I knew he’d respond . . . and hoping that would keep him away from Fixers.

I honestly never thought he’d have the guts to post here (and was right). But in a sense, you’re also right – if he’s so vile that I wanted to get him banned from the Fixer site . . . it was wrong to challenge him to come here. I should have thought about the consequences for knicksdefender if he actually HAD come here. And that would definitely have been terrible. Luckily it didn’t happen. But I shouldn’t have done that. You’re right. That was wrong.

On the other points, you may choose to see yourself as a “better” fan, but you’d be wrong. We’re both trying to get to the same place . . . just squabbling over the directions.

40 Post - up Prince December 16, 2007 at 9:08 pm

Lives: Good to see you check in. Same for you O & B, Cooley High and Barf. MIA of late are Steady, African and Anti, all of whome will hopefully be back soon. I missed reading your collective posts in the past week.

We had some soul searching moments after the loss against Seattle. Peaceman, DaVonne, Jay Bee, along with Knickdefense, of course, have been holding the fort with great energy in your absence. Folly and
bronxboy have also chipped in during the blight.

Peaceman, especially, has been his indefatigible self–keeping all our spirits up, and defending the place against all defeatists and haters, while persistently campaigning for the arrival of Artest.

I believe that Berman’s piece about Isiah self-destructing is pure boobird flight of fanciful speculation. Zeke’s win or die speech was
sincere and necessary.

Zbo is looking to pass as well as score; his assists are up of late; and his outside shot frees up E-City down low. Eddy’s ugly bruised lip may be making him positively meaner in addition to being ugly–a plus
puss so to speak that adds something to his demeanor. Crawford seems to understand Eddy’s game and looks for him on the low post as well as for ally oop opportunities. Marbury needs to do the same when he returns. If E- City can play with the same intensity as in the Nets game throughout the season, then he is an asset, despite his shortcomings on D. Then if Q gets his stroke back, we should be o.k., even without Artest. I also expect to see more of Chandler as the
season progresses.

Knicks need to sustain the momentum from last night, and win against Indiana. With 59 games to play, the season is far from over, and the best, I believe, is yet to come. The time to turn things around is now. LGK

Knicks On Demand post-game videos of Isiah and of the team (Crawford, Zach and Eddie) are available for your perusal. Look in the section called What’s New.

IMO – Curry wasn’t just going up strong. He was recognizing where the defender was in the paint. If he’s in the circle, go up strong. I’ve been let down by Herman M. before, but I’ve said that I believe he’ll get better and I stand by that. Cosign on Zach’s passing. The high/low game with Zach and Eddy made the game for me. We won and it was a good win, but Jamal played point and had 3 assists. I am concerned about Jamal. Even though he was on last night, I see his problem as being that he thinks he should keep shooting when he’s not on. He doesn’t seem to realize that sometimes it’s at the detriment of the team. A corollary seems to be developing with Jamal. In games we win he’s been fairly efficient:

November Opponent Result Crawford FG
 Sun 04  vs Minnesota   W 97-93 8 for 15
 Tue 06  vs Denver   W 119-112 8 for 19
 Sat 24  vs Chicago   W 85-78 2 for 7
 Mon 26  vs Utah   W 113-109 7 for 16
 Fri 30  vs Milwaukee   W 91-88 10 for 24
December Opponent Result
 Wed 05  @ New Jersey   W 100-93 7 for 17
 Sat 15  vs New Jersey   W 94-86 11 for 18

I’m not sure if the text will keep it’s spacing, but the point is that when we win (Milwaukee game excluded), he’s pretty efficient. I’m not saying he’s the sole cause of our wins or losses. I do, however, believe it is a major contributing factor good and bad. I’ll review the losses when I have more time.

The refs called a bs game in that Nets game. A lot of non calls and wrong calls against the Knicks. One in particular early on Eddy was called for an offensive foul when the defensive guy was camped in the circle. You don’t have to be nice to a guy when he’s in the circle. Lots of grabs and flat out shoving our guys and they don’t call it. Zach and Eddy are being treated like Shaq in some regards where they are being penalized for being big. If he hits the floor it doesn’t make it a foul and just because he looks like a flea on my back doesn’t mean you don’t make the call either.

Re: #139 “I, too, prefer hope and redemption over chaos. But I also prefer reality over fantasy. It’s fantasy to imagine this team making any kind of significant playoff run this year.”

It’s also fantasy to imagine this team NOT making a significant playoff run this year. You are still talking in opinions. With opinions: reality is relative, truth is relative, fantasy is relative. That type of argument works well with the sheeple in the Fixer nation, but elicits yawns from the Defender gallery.

Keep em poppin Jay Bee. Reality happens tomorow nigh aginst Indiana. Twenty-sis games does not make a season. Take it one game at a time.
Two wins in a row can start a winning streak. LGK

Correction: Twenty three (23) games does not make a season.

We got some good news!!!!
From the Post!!

Jerome James is back at practice full throttle and said he’ll return “soon,” with two weeks a possibility.

“I just got to get my conditioning back,” James said. The Post reported two weeks ago Thomas told James, who had surgery to remove a cyst on his foot in November after missing all of preseason, he wants him in the rotation when he’s healthy because his interior defensive presence is something the Knicks miss and something Eddy Curry lacks.

DVJ, where’s the link? I have no idea what article you’re talking about homie…

I read from a fan on another knicks blog (think it was knicks knacks) that MSG Network is censoring reporters’ questions during the post-game interview with Isiah. that is, you only hear the answers Isiah says, you can no longer hear the original questions posed by the interviewers.

I don’t know if this is true, because I’ve missed the past couple post-game interviews with Isiah, but I wonder, assume it is true, if this has anything to do with the lady-behind-the-bench issue from a few home games ago. isiah gave a perfect response to those questions during that post-game interview, but the fans that kept watching MSG after the game were given a little more show than the people who just read the paper the following day.

more media policies = dolan is very hands-on owner of the knicks

(assuming it is true, and I’ll try to verify this during the the next televised post-game press conference)
