what’s the difference between:
a laughing stock and a respected basketball team?
jeckle and hyde?
a playoff team and a lottery team?
the Knicks team that won last night and the Knicks team that reached a new low against Boston?
Milwaukee and Utah are decent teams, so how is it that we can beat decent teams but not show up at all against the top team? It is a mystery to me, even if Boston has blown out some of their other opponents this season as I have expected they would.
The Knicks have won three of the last four, three in a row at home, but have also been blown out more than once in their past five games.
So will the real New York Knicks please stand up?

But seriously, I’m not sure exactly what NY has for a basketball team this season. Yes there are some great individual talents on the squad, but as a team, is it the playoffs, or is it a bust?

I may be wrong, but I see Jamal Crawford having a better JUMPER than Wade.
I see Jamar having better handle and cross over moves than Wade.

I see Jamal not getting the the ball as much Wade does on his team, as Jamal does on the Knicks.

Peaceman, what are you talking about? Clever Red reference but I am a C fan for about 44 years. I’m not from Boston and don’t live there, I live in the midwest. I grew up watching the C’s on TV in the 60′s because they were the only team that played in the game of the week every week against the Lakers, 76ers and Knickerbockers. Their professional organization has what has kept me with them this long even thru the bad times (Pitino, M.L. Carr), but trust me I love the C’s. And I like the Bulls 2nd. It’s been nice as a fan of both because usually one’s good when the other is bad, but all in all I’ve had a lot of championships to root for. That good enough for you.

I would say Ray Allen career and Isiah are about even. Allen has better individual stats but Isiah has 2 rings. Both HOF’s as players in my opinion.

Blogzilla: This is only speculation, but knowing that the Knicks had a back-to-back
and rather than appear tired in front of the Garden fans, the team “took it easy”
against Boston; and once they fell behind, they wilted. Nevertheless, they conserved
enough energy to come from behind against Milwaukee. Can they stand up against the elite teams? I believe so. Tomorrow night will be a solid test against Phoenix, one of the elite teams who beat them rather handily in Phoenix. Though the MSG fans will boo at the introductions, as long as the team plays hard and the game is competitive, the fans will stay encouraged.
More speculation: Did Isiah bench N8 last night because (1) he is in Zeke’s doghouse?
(2) Zeke genuinely believed he was not suited for the matchups, prefering Fred Jones
to hawk Michael Redd? or (3) is N8 sitting to avoid injury because he is on the trading block? At this point, I am prepared to accept Zeke’s explanation; Fred Jones
