what’s the difference between:
a laughing stock and a respected basketball team?
jeckle and hyde?
a playoff team and a lottery team?
the Knicks team that won last night and the Knicks team that reached a new low against Boston?
Milwaukee and Utah are decent teams, so how is it that we can beat decent teams but not show up at all against the top team? It is a mystery to me, even if Boston has blown out some of their other opponents this season as I have expected they would.
The Knicks have won three of the last four, three in a row at home, but have also been blown out more than once in their past five games.
So will the real New York Knicks please stand up?
Please stand up. Please stand up. Please stand up.
But seriously, I’m not sure exactly what NY has for a basketball team this season. Yes there are some great individual talents on the squad, but as a team, is it the playoffs, or is it a bust?

Orange,
From my vantage point, the Eddy Curry situation with the NYK is the same it has been since coming out of high school. I’ll give you the first letter anf you can pretty much fill out the rest. Ready? The letter is E.
In terms of coaching, Starburyfan (now known as Knicksdefense) once typed a witty comment about Curry needing a big man coach to teach him big man moves as opposed to Aguire teaching fat ass guard post-up moves. I wll remind you here that Herb Williams is also on the staff and prolly does more than chart shots and carry the clipboard for IT. I suspect that E-City gets an earful from Glymph, Aguire, Williams, Hanners, IT, Jamal, JJI, hell anybody who can try to get to Puff the lovable magic dragon in the middle. Any clue yet on the letters following E? My take may appear somewhere like Modi’s. Stay tuned. These sites are now like sister stations anyway.

Yes the answer to your question is D, as in Defense, which is something E-d seems to have had a hard time developing.
As I told DVJ, lets see how Isiah’s purported experiment of getting E to “d” up and focus on Offense 2nd develops legs.
If not then heck Eddy will be fair game for trade speculation, in my book. But as I mentioned before I am a bit more patient, which of course won’t extend beyond this season let alone perhaps this trade line.
