Lives:
How many jobs do I need?
I’m here defending this forum from the fake assed rats and snakes.
A little appreciation would be nice.
Because of my job here, I was kidnapped by Mark and Dross and locked in the basement. (What happened there stays there.)
Lots of risks involved here.
Then there’s my welfare gig. Lots of pissed off folks while I’m blogging on my iphone while standing in line for my check.
Hey! I’m doing all this for you guys!. Do I get a little love? Nooooooo!
Then I’ve got to deal with Folly the fairy. Not an easy life!
I love you Af.
LMAO. Thanks.
To add my 2 cents………
I have always felt Q should start at the 2 and add JJ/Balk/Lee in the 3 spot.
I like JCraw as an “instant offense” guy coming off the bench.
Shouldn’t matter who starts but who finishes.
Oh. Welcome JayBee. I’m on the run, but I’ll holler at you later. Enjoy the company.
You have my love too African(no homo)
BUT, what happened in that basement……….pleeeeeeeeease tell.
I’m holding out on my welcome to Jay Bee.
Son; You’ve got to show me a little somtn’ somtn’ for me to roll out the welcome mat.
We’ve been fooled, bamboozled, been taken far too many times.
Sorry if I’m a little cautious at this point.
No kissy kissy with me. Earn your keeps.
Steady,
Great observation. I observed the “teachable moments” and thought they were needed. However, I did not
connect the blocks to those moments. I NOW see the connection. Great read, Steady. Way to connect the dots. I think Zeke needs
to ride Eddy from here on out. Make Eddy “Nasty”, he’s too nice on the court. Eddy wants to be the “Man”, without paying the
price. The “Bench”, historically has been the best teacher.
@African,
You have missed my point. The Suns are an example of a team that plays the 5 Players that play best together. They start a Power forward
at center, and a small forward at power forward. You are too caught up in the player’s size. Marion boards like a guy 3-4 inches taller
(remember , fight in the dog) Q, plays like a three, despite his height he pulled down 15 boards the other day.
He guards Lebron, & Peirce well. He has problems generally w/ 3s 6.8 and taller. We need Q, to find his shot. His D, has been good.
Fellas, one of the benefits of JChuck palming the ball. He doesn’t want to handle it as much which means fewer turnovers for
the Knicks. In a perverse way, David Stern & his “rogue refs” are helping the Knicks.
Peace & Blessings
DLT:
The only one that knows for sure besides Mark and Dross is Barf.
That stays between us two. If that leaks, then his ass is grass.
He’d have to be gone and stay gone.
His new name would be Pulp.
Just when I give kudos, you say you’re locked in the basement with ABSs. Brother. Gotta take back the purple heart.
Modi,
Chandler-Curry connection would have been deadly combination. Super offense and defense. A little patience and a little money to Curry would have produced championships. The press needs to do some drive-bys in Chi-town. You inherit
Curry
Chandler
Crawford
Hinrich
and you draft Deng with the 7th pick? That’s perennial playoffs, possible championship. And you screw that up?
Keep enlightening man. You’re our Frank Deford and proud to be in your company. Plus, when you’re signed you have a couple of guys that can get your coffee. They might be using walking canes, but that’s ok.
Knicksdefense is still in Florida. Just like you, I’m itching for him to return. I’m glad you’re all hanging around and keeping KnicksDefense.com going strong. Go Knicks!!
DLT,
@ 452. I 2nd that motion. Especially since Nate hasn’t been that spark on O prompting several MSM outlets to infer that “we are not as deep as it seemed”
JC could be instant O off the bench. We have plenty of O in EC, ZBO and Steph. I don’t really trust JJ anymore so I would pronmote Balk to start at 3 and shift Q to the 2.
Statesman:
I get your point, but what I see with our current line-up, are mismatches that the opposing team exploits.
Q is a solid defender, but size does matter in this league. Most teams have a mismatch size wise, at the three and always at the two.
That’s asking a whole lot to defend against. In my humble opinion,(Ok, not so humble) I think that’s where the early defecit derives from.
The bench comes in, and slows the opposing offense with their hustle.
Craw is not the only culprit, but we do have some solid defensive threes that can be used in the starting line-up to provide some balance.
Sit Craw.
D L T,
Did you check out the list of OTPs that will be free this summer from BSPN? Did you notice the drama going on in Miami with Riley the Controller? One team’s detractor can be another team’s cancer. You make a major gamble when you bring them on before your own chemistry and house rules are set.
JohnQ,
Agreed. It also matters that those who finish do so with a W.
JayBee,
Welcome and do write a bit as we diagnose your DNA. I already like that your cup is half-full.
KFLL
Steady
Definitely. That’s why we have to be careful with this Artest seance. That signing could demonize us for 5 years if we’re not careful. Plus, no disrespect to H20, but that last major acquisition evolved into the worst financial transaction that I have witnessed with this team. Artest is not going to be cheap.
African,
I agree Craw should sit, but Q, is not and has never been a 2. Not at DePaul, not w/ Clippers, not w/ Suns. Q, strength is rebounding, D,
and in the past, an outside shot. I think Balk should start at the 3, and the 2, has to be determine. He can’t handle, and teams
would take the ball out of Stephs hand, putting Knicks at a disadvantage.
Contrary to your thoughts, Zeke knows best.
Peace & Blessings
@459,
Thanks for lookin’ in and sharing the passion. Said it before, there’s a future here. “Hold On”–Genesis.
We’re not itchin’ here since we’ve got the keys. It-a-be a different story if we were locked out and could not get in. One thing we know for sure is that there will be a great homeComin’ SOON. BLOGZILLA knows what’s good
KFLL
Allllllrighty, then. I’ve had a chance to dump a buncha stuff that’d been piling up on my plate and now i can get inta this here meat an potatazz. Where to start? I guess to save time I’ll just address the points as Lives brought up (#406). Here we go…
1. ok, heard it before and as i’ve said before, i have no problem with it in principle. the issue isn’t about “starting” something (hmm, come back to that) — i’ve several times purposefully invited strong retort with some kinda wild ideas (last couple sentences of comment #350 right here is this thread is a typical example) — it’s about the reply in kind.
as i have said before and i guess it bears repeating, you’re being disengenuous by implying that your vigorous objections are just part of the rough an tumble life at KD. not so, not when i get the msm/troll charge (or sideways slurs to that effect, you know who you be
). everyone else gets the “stoopit!” charge (or the like), but i get the absolute worst name you can call someone in here.
it’s not the same thing at all, and you’re not being honest if you continue to push that. now, if i am to understand that as part of the usual ritual in joining KD is to put up with some period of hazing wherein you have to withstand being called an msm troll, then ok, i take it back and i guess i’ll just tough it out.
i have openly said that i find THAT particular charge painful, i have asked that it be backed up by calling attention to specific things i’ve said in the past and, to my memory, this (lives @ #406) is the very first attempt. knowingly pitching around that epithet (or similar aspersions) w/o evidence is hardly the act of righteous christians and, to me, it nullifies and cheapens all references to the lord. if nothing else being a christian (imho) means suffering not so much rhetorical vengeance.
2. thanks, man. and i truly enjoy your writing as well. i won’t be the last to say you have a gift.
3. if i haven’t given enough thanks in the past for the welcomes (i think i have?) then let me correct that now: MANY THANKS, TO ALL WHO HAVE WELCOMED ME. any who have enjoyed the snug comfort of *belonging* will know the comfort your expressions give me. that said, as with anyone who’s been burned by a negative experience in the past, it takes some time to fully trust, for sensitivities to cool off enough to allow growth of new, thicker skin.
4. well, one man’s clorox is another man’s attempt to explain. i disagree that i’m “loose” with my language. au contraire, i’m usually quite particular about how far i go in any dimension. i’m especially wary of my tone, if not content. but language is not perfect and i’m sure if i took the time to edit and re-edit everything i wrote (including this big long ditty), some things would change.
the question is really about interpretation. george bush is a hellion to many but hella right on time to others. how you interpret what he has to say sometimes depends on how you view him, generally. hm, he’s prolly not the best example, but i think you get my drift.
i think that because some have chosen to view me in a certain light, *everything* i say is some kind of msm trick straight from msm hq. it’s really exasperating on my end.
“designated referees” yes, i’m referring to the Africans and such who are in charge of calling fouls. and by “a significant number of defenders believe that their prayers and wishes (BELIEEEVE!) actually give the team some kind of extra power,” i mean of the most vocal defenders. i know in most forums the lurkers far outnumber the ones who deign to mosh in pit, but i think they basically define the vibe that the others are tuning in to. you’re right tho that i didn’t define “significant” (20% 30% 50% 70%??), but i hope we can leave it at some number that cannot be ignored. whatever that be, the number doesn’t have to mean a “majority.” i’m not sure why you found this bothersome. if this is supposed to be an example of my “loose” language, if you’re asking me to be more “precise,” then i think you’re holding me to a standard to which no one else is subjected. it’s just my sense of the vibe here, man. nothing more.
i think you’re being unfairly selective. if you can read the first four paragraphs of my comment (#161 in the knicks play bulls thread, and, for laffs an giggles, my follow ups #166 and #173) and still figure me for a troll who has nothing but hateful vitriol to spew, then i can’t help ya. i am at a complete loss to explain otherwise.
i’m not taking back the point. even though the knicks won (woo hoo!), i still vindicated in that it took the knicks shooting 53% (53%!! do you know how hard that is for an elite team to do over the course of a game, nevermind the knicks?) and curry blocking two shots (!! wtf?!) to win by four at home against a team on the back end of a back-to-back. anything’s POSSIBLE, but i prefer to pin my EXPECTATIONS on more likely scenarios.
spin you say? what, your’e talking about #333 (this thread?). man, i was just responding to some pointed jabs. if you have me figured for an msm/troll guy, then OF COURSE you’ll read what i wrote as “spin,” trying to “cover” for all my boo-bird talk earlier. if you have me figured for a cautious fan, then what you see is a guy sayin i doubt we’ll win, but let’s hope we give em hell anyway. and that’s it. it’s about your mindset.
5. well, ok, i guess i already addressed that above, but if we’re trying to be precise here, the “cerebral” (which i put in quotation marks in the original comment) vs spiritual stuff had to do with how i’m perceiving the strength of the positive thinking vibe here. it’s fair to wonder if i’m trying to throw a barb in there, but no, that wasn’t the case at all. mindsets. i recognize that there are plenty of scientists (i think einstein is one) who are also avowed christians. it’s just to say that when it comes to sports stuff, i tend to discount the potential effect of sending out good vibrations (marley would put out a spliff in my eye).
see with that i take it you really did bloody well get what i was saying afterall. tsk, tsk, tsk.
6.
agreed. so what’s that got to do with me? see what i mean? ‘zilla please confirm but my first ever appearance @ KD was in a thread entitled, E-City Cleared for Practice way back october 14 (lol, this seems like a comic book “origins” story, How Follymacher got his Super Powers). i jumped in trying to throw some cold water on the meme that zeke didn’t like d-nice (comment #27 in the thread). was i crackin on anyone? did i come in with fiyah trying to put down defender nation? nope.
at #113 you’ll find my second ever comment in here and it’s a doozy, with me trying to GIVE SUPPORT TO THOSE WHO WANTED TO BOYCOTT ALAN HAHN’S SITE. there was nothing, imho, ambiguous or loose in my language, intent or tone.
so far, by my count, i’ve got two comments in, one a mild poke (at best!) at d-nice detractors (who, remember, was still on the team at the time, so no OTP/OPP) and the second a big ass attempt to big up the community and lend support to a movement.
are these the actions of a troll? can’t see it.
that said, i did bristle somewhat at LINY characterizing me as an “activist.” i must admit, i was very wary of you at the time. it’s so funny to think now, but at the time i was wondering if you were some kind of Hahn agent with your encouraging people to go back there and register a complaint, meanwhile you were taking your sweet time to voice your displeasure. at the time i thot this guy is just trying to keep hahn’s traffic up (and the dissention caused by a bunch of guys bum rushing hahn’s would only keep things hot over there, or so i feared).
i soon came to learn that’s just your style. you take your time and draw a long, slow, deep breath while others are busy losing heads, then, with lungs full, purse your lips to bloviate somethin fierce. it’s your steez. i get it. i uncocked my eyebrow a loong time ago.
i don’t recall making some “crack” that i “cleaned up,” (check the thread) but for sure never in my short period of suspicion did i ever call you out as msm/troll. good for me, since i quickly came to learn the respect you’ve (rightly) garnered in here.
compare and contrast with “tom” who stomped into our house with mouth full of snark at #211 in the celtics embarrass knicks thread of oct 18. i was the first one to call him out at #213.
fair enough, i think that’s the thing right there (lack of ‘stripes’) and i admitted to that some time ago. i think i had a pretty good start, but apparently it wasn’t enough to convince all the old heads.
agreed. and if you see from the same thread where tom introduced himself (see link above) in comments #38, #40, #41 it’s clear i can deal with African noooo problem when he deals with me as just another contributor. it’s when he can’t lay off the msm crackpipe is when i go off. that’s an insult of a different colour and that’s what separates the usual roughantumble from the crap i get (ugh, that sounds like a whine, eh?).
7. yeah, i can dig it, the spirituality thing. i had an aha moment. i was struggling to figure out why i’m so bloody special that i get the msm/troll rush when other guys do essentially the same thing as me and get off (relatively) scot-free. it dawned on me that there’s a thing about net positive energy, which ties into the spiritualism thing. i didn’t get it. not at all. but the eureka moment finally hit me that my trying to cool down the expectations has, for many here, the effect of ruining the vibes they’re sending out to the team. aha! even tho i don’t really believe in it to that extent, i can respect it. i was simply unaware. i never occurred to me, til then. sorry. end of story.
8. i’ve already discussed this one (ad nauseum). ain’t nobody in here calling you a troll/msm for saying taking on the jazz is a tall order. i’m not hatin exactly, just want you to realize it’s not an apples-to-apples comparison.
thanks for reading this folks. it’s most definitely unedited (i was going to reread this whole thing and fix it up nice-nice). sorry. this took me a couple hours to do with all the researching links and wot not. goin out to see a movie and i’ll be back later to address African.
chucksterwuckster
@ JohnQ
Now we are on the same page.Since “D” seems to be our biggest problem now. Why now start some of our better defensive players.Steph,Q,Zach,EC are more than enough to carry the “O” for the first unit. Bring JC off the bench with N8 and Lee/Balk/JJ who ever else is not starting. But remember this summer when JC pushed to start in the absence of Kobe and DWade? He may not like that 2nd string role…but I think it’s best for the T-E-A-M.
@ Steady
I did not see the list of OTP available in 2008. I do agree that chemistry is very important. That’s why we needed time to get Zach involved(he is a MAJOR scorer)this year.Do you have a link to this list? Who would you think we should bring in AFTER this year?
My take is if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!
We have a 2 game winnng streak thats about to become three!
Zeke shouldn’t Change anything about the starting line up
as we may be on an unthinkable win streak! After watching Boston lose to thE Cav’s
Last night, I saw Major flaws in their game! They are a lot like “Mike Tyson”
meaning they beat teams mentally before the game starts! They had Zero energy in the fourth
which means if the Knicks come out the block strong, Boston is not the team to play catch up!
Last night may have been their “PEEK”…. Don’t be surprized if the go on an impressive losing
streak!
ok, now having read it, i wish i did edit it (esp the end of comment #3, needs more explainin). anyway, have at it. i’ll be back later.
Hey it’s really getting deep in here.
Guess what the lakers have deported Coby Karl to the D league and Denver is thinking of doing the same to his dad.
More news.. The nuggets waive Mike WIlkes
More news The NYPoset has a headline that Marbury takes a shot at fan mmmmmmmm I wonder what direction those guys are going with that?
Defenders I dig you all but I got to go to work… you beeeeches you
Gosh. All of this because of the statement that the knicks had no chance against the jazz, they would be lucky to stay close.
Just eat the crow already and let’s move on. Starting to sound like cackling women.
Gotcha ChuckFM and on y va. There are some here who thrive on no kissy-kissy. Me I’m Steady. My preference is human decency and mutual respect as this community is in my HOME office where I blog.
KFLL
On ESPN’s Who’s Hot and Who’s Not…
Rondo is scoring 4.8 points per game in last 4c games.
That sounds good of course, he’s not the one the Knicks should be keeping tight defense on,yet at the same time a player like Rondo sometimes is the one that turns out to hit the winning shot against them. So I say NO lax defense on any player in Boston.
Jay Bee,
Welcome, and WriteOn!!!
Jay Bee: Welcome to Knickdefense.com.
Steady, give Jay Bee a break.
Start him out with a full glass and see how he posts.
Newbies must be encouraged not intimidated as long as
they are Knick fans. KFL
DLT,
I’ll post the link later. In that response I will be put on a Veil and discuss OTPs though it will be on the basis of the Scholar’s expiring and medical retirement for JJI.
Statesman,
You state that Q is not a 2 and he never was. OK. More is needed to make your post very useful. Considering we’re loving the ones we’ve got, where do you play (a healthy) Q? I submit that Q is an effective wild card on this team. IMO he is a coach’s dream–he does as he’s told. Look at him being the designated trey man in Phoenix. Look at him being the D-stopper for the HOF ABS coach to the D-etriment of his offense. Look at him modifying his game so that he contributes rebounds, and assists when his shot is not falling. He will give you what you ask of him. What are you asking of him Statesman? If you ask him to play the 2, he can and will. If you ask him for the 3, he can and will. He has the smarts to know how those positions fit on the floor at all times (unlike JCraw @ times). Best yet, if you ask to sit, he can and will (though he may not like it the way it was done to him last year).
As you know, I’m Steady and believe that in the marathon you’ve instilled in our minds here, we have a 50-win team/season. I also believe that we do have our SF in either Lee or Balkman (note that I don’t quible over START). JJII is a fine option for the SF/PF. Most of the 2-guard minutes should go to Q because his game complements the inside-outside style while playing Nice with the Z-double. While playing Nasty and if he is JCraw (instead of JChuck or JCrawful), the NYK have its own Mamba/Wade/Arenas who compliments E-City and a rebounding fiend in Balkman. On the Mos Def tip, IT does know best. And that’s why I always say: Steady as IT goes.
KFLL
Steady…..no te’ veyas, quiero mas tiempo contigo.Tu’ eres el hombre’.Creo que si’!
We love our Knicks is the bottom line. We have had 2 days to wait. That’s why it’s so hot in here.
Go NY… Go NY… Gooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Post-up,
JayBee knows what’s good. Everyone comes in here as King of the F’n Hill until they drivel it away. BTW, in one of the threads, I did reveal that I am an African.
That was a royal statement and it coincides with my intent
KFLL
Gracias D L T, un otro rey del pico. Ya volver!

Modi, Harlem and BX in MD, I’ve got those Georgetown Tickets squared away for the UConn game on Saturday, January 12. Tickets will be in my name at Will Call. As we get closer I’ll check on your background data and reveal my Secret Identity…LOL This some down home secret agent shyt here…LOL Seriously we are Cool for the 12th. One Caveat, I’ll be entertaining Reps from the NCAA in the Gtown’s AD’s suite, so I’ll be moving and grooving, but Ya’ll be good. Defenders get back at me if there’s some issues…
African, your #450 post is dead hilarious…I hear you about Jay Bee, but We’ve all got OUR roles…Do your thing Dawg, Sniff, sniff…LOL
Defenders, I think STEADY hit the bulls eye on this one. The Culprit Shall Sit, has always been the preferred methodology on the professional level…You don’t play, you don’t have value, and your REP is damaged if you act ALL Buck Wild! The MSM makes sure your antics follow you wherever you go…If you have been half listening on any STRAND regarding the Sean Taylor saga, you know THE MSM confesses that sooooooo many playas in ALL sports don’t want a thing to do with them, nor will they give them the time of day for that exact reason and many DAMN more…That’s the reason Art Monk with his numbers on the gridiron is not in the HOF. He did not talk to the Media. Art is still extremely shy today…just his make-up!
Zeke will punish the offenders by sitting their azzes on the pine until they toe the company line. Play hard and play smart and play to win…That’ was his MO….And. if a true difference maker shakes free by February, you try to make the exchange…DVJ and Peaceman, I ain’t talking Artest. We’re talking Superstar/Franchise Changer. Artest is not the one for now…Just bloggin and serious as a heart attack too…LOL
Gotta bounce! Got some packing to do!
Keep it POPPIN!
Peace,
If JC doesn’t go off for 22 against the Jazz we would lose. We all know he’s good for that every 3rd or 4th game. One good game for him does not hide the fact that most nights he gets smoked. He has the ability to still get 20 as a bench player.
I attest that JC has to have a 20 point night EVERY night to be a starter. I say this because he usually gives up that or more. He’s a detriment to the D as a starter. period.
Q has never been a 2 but I believe the guy can do anything asked of him as Steady pointed out before.
Having Balkman as a starter makes the most sense. Someone said that we would suffer in the ball handling department if Q was the 2. Balkman can handle the ball. He loves to walk it up. Problem solved.
Steady
Don’t C O People! Your are Steady! African is African!
Defenders who you wit? rush my brother, ignorance is bliss. I still have much love for you. May God and the son deliver you. Boston is in for a serious BUMRUSH!!!!!!! MSM already have us at 4-10. Utah was rolling too. They are singing our praises as I blog. Garnett will not sleep well tonight. Ray Allen needs therapy and Paul Pierce is salavating. He is who we need to contain. Make him a distributer. Rondo and House are turnovers waiting to happen. Make this team team put the ball on the deck. We will win by double digits. Advise.
John Q
Crawford gets a lot of unwarrented Blame! He is a starter!
Crawford will start hitting his stride right about NOW!
He’s still our main pin point lob pass radar to Curry for a slam!
ANd may I add, he’s the only Knick that proved he can destroy
the then Current NBA Champion team almost single handed! Wait till after the Boston game,
then tell me again about Crawford not being a starter! I think
your in for a big surprise! I will be happy to admit I was wrong,
but again I believe you are in for a Big surprise with Crawford!
In a nut shell, Crawford is the most dangerous offensive player on our team!
In the next few weeks you’ll say “Peaceman” My Bad! lol
You mean I can’t go to the desk and say i’m looking cooley a/k/a big pimpin?
Peace,
I agree that Craw is necessary, but the Lone Ranger is gonna start playing like Starbury again. Curry and Crawford ain’t gonna fight him for shots. They’ll take a back seat as usual. So if our offense is gonna take a step back, our D needs to step up!
# 477 steady says he is African! Then who is Steady?
No wonder Steady don’t like to COPP…lol
Peace,
I hear you man. JC’s O is impressive. I feel it will even get better just like you said buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut his D is not going to improve. At his best he’s a moderate defender. We need more D, I don’t know how else to put it. You know as well as I that he can go off for 20 off the bench. It is more important who finishes anyway.
I don’t have time to do the research right now but I’m positive that the opposing SG outscores him most nights. Tell me I’m wrong.
Just because his O will pick up over the next couple of weeks I won’t say my bad. I expect it. Now if he somehow morphs into J Claw (just made that up) and shores up his D I’ll happily munch that crow feet first !
I was waiting and waiting for someone to post this article about the Knick beat reporters but it never came. So I’ll post it myself. I was taking a hiatius because I was distressed by the beginning of the season but now my hope is being slowly restored. This basically gives the 411 on why the Knicks beat reporters hate the team they cover on a nightly basis.
http://www.observer.com/2007/life-knicks-hell
Craw did have a couple of steals in the last game. I remember a play from out of bounds where he quickly positioned himself to cut off right hand dribble. There’s hope for him on D.
booman,
Is it an HTML file? The link would not open
– cooley, cont me in for J12
– Harlem, thanks. Paxson took over one of the easiest possible gigs in history. Scotty Sterling couldn’t mess that up!
– One of the perks of this site are the exchanges like that of Lives and Folly
– where’s starbury fan?
– I agree with Ian Thompsan and others that at least on defensive guy should be in the starting line-up. I’ve always wanted Balkman to start over Q. Q is good at D, but balkman’s d is the kind that starts fast breaks and gets easy buckets.
– Jeffries should get heavy minutes against KG
Steady,
Thanks for letting me know that my post was INCOMPLETE. (LOL). Before I answer your questions I want to say “Steady has SOLD OUT”.
Steady you are now down w/ OPP.
Regarding Q, I agree that Q, would be willing to try to play the 2 and give it his best shot. Q, is a Gamer, who is willing to
follow the coach’s order. Although Q, would be WILLING, he is not ABLE. Q, lacks the handle and the lateral quickness to quard
the slashing 2s in the league. Besides taking Q, that far from the basket, negates one of his strengths, rebounding. When
deciding where Q, plays I would factor in what is best for the team w/ the current makeup.
I would start Balk at the 3, and keep JChuck at the 2. I believe that the current starting 5 consist of all offensive players who
have quiet personalities, and they will BITE once they are bitten. Balk is aggressive and will BITE BEFORE he is bitten. Balk’s
intensity and all out hustle will get the other guys motors going during the first quarter. I believe the Knick’s slow start is
due to defense and their “Passive Aggressive” on the court personalities(Curry,Steph,Craw,Q). Balk & Zach combined would change
the dynamics.
Q, would come off the bench and play aprox. 25-28 minutes per game. Due to Balk propensity to foul, Q, would be valuable. Now would
be a good time to make this move. Q, is shooting 30%(25%) on threes. It would be hard for him to argue that he needs to start,(unlike
the PG, Q, is a team player). JCuck continues to start because of the handle and his flexibility to move from the 1 to 2.
Steady let me know what you think?
Peace & Blessings
Peaceman,
“And may I add, he’s the only Knick that proved he can destroy
the then Current NBA Champion team almost single handed!”
For those arem as stupid as the Knicks-Hating MSM: Peaceman is talking about Wade. Yes, Crawford dropped 52 points on Wade and his crew. You sleep on Jamal Crawford(Anti’s favorite player)while guarding him and he will be quick to do one of these numbers on ya:http://www.postingandtoasting.com/story/2007/11/27/133444/63
Goes to show not only can Jamal serve up “revenge soup” but can Shake and Bake as well.

For the Defenders here who don’t know let me tell you how and why the term “REVENGE SOUP” is use by me a current Knicks Defender(with a badge to prove it).And why Jamal Crawford would be one of my favorite Knick player—up there with like of J. Starks,Larry Johnson, and Allan Houston. ENJOY
For me to show you—let me take you guys back in time—early this year. January in fact: I went back to the archives and did a Folly(CharlesFM that is)on the NY Post blog on January 2007—this is what I wrote after the Knicks lost to the Suns on the hater and doogie in my doghouse, Marc Berman on Posted by: Anti-NYSportsNews on January 25, 2007 01:37 AM:
KNICKS PLAYOFFS 2007 BABY! :
George M: Don’t even respond to these haters who only seem to nit pick at the negative things about the Knicks. So what, we lost tonight. Who are these Nit pickers’ favorite NBA team. The Suns? Whoopee! They are the dominant team now! But so is Dallas. Let them beat up on each other there in the West. So jump on the bandwagons now you haters. Your still have time. As for us real Knicks fans, We have nothing to worry about! The Knicks are alright. We are doing better than last year. More good then Bad. And you haters , you better hope the Knicks don’t lose Marbury and Curry for significant amount of games this year or/then Isaiah would have a legit excuse to remain another season. Because how are the Knicks suppose to make the playoffs with two of their best players Injured? And if our two best players ARE in and PLAYING, then we should be playoff bound anyway…but of course, only time would tell. And you haters are praying for the worse on the Knicks anyway, so I don’t care what you think. And you haters are in a Catch 22 that’s not good for your situation anyway. Either way we’ll see Dolan extending Isaiah contract a year or two more. Significant progress as been already made, haters.
Because you are so happy that the Knicks lose and and CRY and SHUT down when they win. Remember,we have a player now that demands double or triple teams. What is that telling you haters. We are one more Dominant player away from a Champion contending team.
It’s nice to see that teams like the Suns and other Teams have no answer for Eddy Curry. That’s a positive thing that we can take from this Season, already. I never seen a Center so dominant since Shaq in the early Kobe and Shaq combo reigning days. It’s a beautiful thing to watch and realize KFFLifers that we have something to be proud of. A legit Center! We can build a franchise around Eddy Curry. Eddy Curry must improve in his defense. His only and major drawback. This whole team have got to be defensively aware. When a loose ball is there, pounce on it like a ravanous lion on its prey. And no uncontested jump shots if at all possible. These young players don’t do that. To improve, Channing Frye should watch some Kevin Garnett tapes and emulate Garnett’s style. Eddy Curry need to watch Shaq and emulate his defense and passing out of the double and triple teams. These two guys are young, and can learn and grow. There is tremendous up swing from these Knicks. So we KFFLifers are keeping our head up, no matter what, Haters!
Miami game is forgotten. Suns games(although a good effort on Knicks’ part) is forgotten. We shall move on, and we are.Next, revenge soup to Miami.

Now guys you can recall, after two losses, Miami Heat blowing the Knicks out by 20pts and then we losing to the Suns, the haters was pouring it on. GeorgeM I were our usual selves, defending, but it wasn’t easy. Despite and through all that blog fighting— all that hating, I still had the confidence that the Knicks was going to beat Miami Heat that upcoming Friday. Never in my wildest imagination, though, would I ever think I would witness one of the most spectaular performances from not just a Knicks player, but any single players in the NBA what Jamal Crwford did that night.
And what made so all that much special is that the Knicks, and we as fans needed a win like that in a big way! And just to remind you, Curry did not play that game, because of his leg injury against the Suns in Phoenix.
After this game I was Joyous and this is what I wrote and why Jamal Crawford is a my Knicks fan fave player.

“The way I see it, and I KNOW how good this Knicks team can be, I say this: THE KNICKS WILL BEAT MIAMI FRIDAY. With or Without SHAQ OR WADE. And if I’m wrong, and the Knicks lose, I wont write any more as Anti-NYSportsNews on this BLOG for the remaining of this month. If the Knicks beat Miami I want you guys, Mercano, Vin Laiden,Falcon1,and others to do the same.”

What’s up George M and Anti-NYSportsNews, great win for our team. This team cannot be kept down, they are fighters just like the Coach and President/GM. Give this team time to grow and they are going to be regulars in the playoffs, with a strong chance at winning a title.

GeorgeM,Jeff,Anti-sports and all KFFLERS…This is truley the turning point this season! Thomas can now unleash the “DEMON” in Crawford on any given night! one more point! Mercano…you do EL SUCKO!!!!!All the way from EL MEXICO!!!! Don’t deliver my fruit late anymore!

Roscoe: I think EVERYTIME the Knicks win it can be a turning point for them. Only negative —they need to be consistant, stop playing around with these teams we should be beating. If we would make the Playoffs in the East, teams should be scared of us. If not they would have to teach them like D, Waid had to learn. There’s no Team in East should be SCARED of. What Detroit! We whipped them last time, pretty good too. Miami. Let Crawford tell you about that Haters if your memory is short, and you failed to watch Knicks IN 60 tonight. I look forward to playing Orlando, haven’t tried them yet. I don’t think they have an answer for a Healthy Curry neither. Crawford keep on playing games like this–NO one would be able to have an answer for him. Is that right, Dwayne Waid?

Down below was my post on Jan. 25:
* Some foresight I have. Did u notice, all the borderline calls went against the Heat?
* Crawford blatantly palmed the ball numerous times, no call. Refs were “encouraged” not to call it (carrying the ball;
* Crawford was in the zone, all it did was masked all of Isiah’s coaching deficiencies;
* I still pick Liberty in 5 against Knicks in best of 7;
* George M.: blood test revealed that your my long lost transvestite brother;
—————————————————————————————————–
The Knicks will win against the Heat. The league and refs will make sure of that. The bleeding needs 2 stop 4 the team in the biggest media market. The Knicks will get all the help that it can get. This is a top secret conspiracy so please be discreet.
I can sensed that our KFFLrs r gathering ammunitions right now. The next big win by the SickerBockers would trigger these KFFLer 2 blast everyone away. I can’t wait.

I am not fond of the way he has sliced and diced the roster.
I feel that other teams have been looting our draft pics.
When I see him it makes me feel pugnacious.
Isiah devastated the Knicks organization thru his shakin & bakin.

Shut the hell hp KKL suk so what you posted that weak prediction who cares save that for the birds we won and with d wade and shaq playing now what. when we lost with out them playing you da#n haters had alot to say we bet them with out curry so go to the heats blog and say how bad they are. Jamal played a great game do you really think the nba rigged the game we won 23 games last season where was the help then. and have not be a dominate team since ewing left. but we are getting better and will make the playoffs and all you haters just relax and enjoy the show. and we can beat any team in the east so if we make the playoffs I bet you every team in the east wont want us in the first round cause if we go in 8th seed there will be an upset. KFFL over and out.

Da Booman,
Great link. Explains everything.
Peace & Blessings
Anti, that 52 point Jamal game was the best single Knick performance that I have ever witnessed… and that includes the great bernard king.
he got barely any of it from the line and very few on layups. it was the very definition of “in a zone”. It was simply beautiful
Booman:
TRhe article makes it plain why the NYMSM write what they do. The Knicks have made them irrelevant. THe Garden sells out without their help. The Knicks jerseys sell without their articles. What good are they….totaly irrelevant

I second your emotion—WRITEON!(By the way I’m looking forward to reading your Isiah vs Thomas piece. Like most of your stuff you write—it doesn’t do me justice to read on the screen—I NEED to Print that you bad boy stuff out and hold the papers in hand, enjoying the read, then passing it to unbelievers for them to learn, and become Knicks defenders right along with us here.
Isola starting shit again on his New Post!
He’s warning Q that KG will Verbally and Physically
abuse him because Q stated ” We ain’t in Awe of the Celtics! They haven’t won a Championship!”
