Knicks Visit Kings

Tipoff time is 10pm Eastern.

There’s all kinds of hearsay about this team right now. Rather then speculate on rumored events, I will try to stick to the real, and right now the real is the knicks have lost four in a row going into Sacramento. To me, it no longer matters who is in the starting five, only that the team puts forth a respectable effort to win throughout the basketball game. In that respect, I don’t care if they start pulling people up from the D league to play on this team, just win some games so the Knicks aren’t the laughing stock of the league, as they have been for some time now.

No ZBo tonight, maybe Mardy Collins and Renaldo will play–maybe not.  Your guess at the starting five is a good as mine.  Last I heard, Curry might not start.  Doesn’t really matter, just win the game.

6 Vic Corbit November 17, 2007 at 1:14 am

Great game. the kings don’t want to win.

7 BARF November 17, 2007 at 1:15 am

10 Vic Corbit November 17, 2007 at 1:16 am

Pressure is on the Kings. Let’s see if our heroes prevail when it seems bleak?

11 DaVonn Jefferson November 17, 2007 at 1:17 am

Yo man…..Curry needs to go to LA and work with Phil

Barf, I don’t swing that way man lol

17 BARF November 17, 2007 at 1:19 am

when curry went out early in the game, they stopped attacking the rim. more of these kings need to be in foul trouble.

18 DNM November 17, 2007 at 1:19 am

Tough loss tonight. 2-10 looks like a possibility.

19 BARF November 17, 2007 at 1:20 am

lol

20 BARF November 17, 2007 at 1:20 am

nate hit a three to make these free throws worth watching

21 DaVonn Jefferson November 17, 2007 at 1:20 am

Is it me or did Jamal have the same stupid grin on his face that Patrick use to have when he would miss a big shot?

Better luck tomorrow.

22 Vic Corbit November 17, 2007 at 1:20 am

Great effort by our heroes. They left it all on the floor. Let’s pray for their strength and safety in Denver tonight. Peace and Blessings to all Defenders.

23 BARF November 17, 2007 at 1:21 am

and…

its a wrap

24 DaVonn Jefferson November 17, 2007 at 1:21 am

We need a trade guys….

Like it or not…

Kobe Kobe Kobe

28 Vic Corbit November 17, 2007 at 1:22 am

Good night All.

29 HarleminMD November 17, 2007 at 1:22 am

a win against Denver could salvage the trip

30 BARF November 17, 2007 at 1:23 am

great game. lord knows i didnt think this was going to happen during the first half. they looked terrible in the first half.

second half was a different story. they attacked the rim. everyone who got to the floor contributed.

the refs were real donaghy tonight. real questionable.

31 DNM November 17, 2007 at 1:23 am

Yea right, we’re going to get run off the floor in Denver. Curry’s going to be finished in the 3 minutes.

32 HarleminMD November 17, 2007 at 1:24 am

I’m listening to Artest on Sacramento station. he just described his play against Curry when refs called Offensive foul. he said, “i don’t like to flop like that, but he’s a big boy.”

Ridiculous.

33 Peaceman November 17, 2007 at 1:24 am

We really did leave it on the court tonight!
The worst Fucking game ever called by ref’s in NBA History!

34 DNM November 17, 2007 at 1:24 am

LOL Harlem

35 DNM November 17, 2007 at 1:25 am

Why doesn’t Curry learn to flop? I hear Vlade is available to coach.

36 BARF November 17, 2007 at 1:25 am

harlem, i cant believe artest said that.

refs killed me man. all night.

people better start calling curry baby shaq?

why?

cuz they call fouls on him like a young shaq. its bullshit.

37 HarleminMD November 17, 2007 at 1:25 am

We are really the bad boys of NBA. We get NO CALLS.

38 Peaceman November 17, 2007 at 1:26 am

If we bring tonight’s effort and our LAYUPS fall, with Zach back we can beat Denver…Again!

39 DNM November 17, 2007 at 1:26 am

Alright guys, goodnight. Tough Tough loss.

40 HarleminMD November 17, 2007 at 1:27 am

We really can’t judge Curry. He has to be tentative because he cannot touch anybody in the nba without getting a foul called.

41 BARF November 17, 2007 at 1:27 am

martin was real good. 43 points and i hardly noticed. i would have thought 35.

42 BARF November 17, 2007 at 1:28 am

i had no idea martin took 19 free throws.

crazy man.

43 BARF November 17, 2007 at 1:29 am

yeah, great night guys. it was fun.

denver game should be good. these guys are starting to lock in during the fourth. they need to make it an all game focus.

44 DaVonn Jefferson November 17, 2007 at 1:33 am

Where the hell is the host?

Starburyfan are you here?

45 MODI November 17, 2007 at 1:36 am

Artest BLATANT carry at end of regulation: No call.

Artest Blatant flop in OT: Offensive foul on Curry!

Artest BLATANT push of D-Lee: No call

46 Post-up Prince November 17, 2007 at 2:14 am

We needed just one more point in regulation. Once E-City “fouled” out, we had no chance. Schedule works to our
disadvantage. We must play back to back, while Denver is rested. Why does NBA create this stuff? Hopefully, ZBo will return. His presence would have made difference tomight. Also a healthy Balkman could have slowed down Artest; Martin another matter. We had virtually no production from the small foward spot (Q, Jeffries and F. Jones combined for a paltry total of 7 points in a game with 2 overtime periods). Then again, Artrest shut down any Knick who played the 3 spot. At least Lee and Nate made contributions. Nate seems to be recovering from his hamstring.

I would have preferred to see Chandler at the 3 instead of F. Jones and Morris instead of Malik. This road trip has become a nightmare. Yet I somehow believe that it can turn around. Some rest for the injured and some home
cooking will help. KFL

Keep the faith.

48 KUNAT November 17, 2007 at 7:53 am

Oh man, get a life you guys.
I’m a b.ball fanatic but you dudes should get a hobby or something. This is pathetic.

I have said and posted many times since Day 1 that Zeke is bad news, not the right man for this job or any job for that matter but it”s neither here nor there. NYK is stuck with him, for better or for worse, for the time being.
It’s a long season, more than 70 games to go. Lord Thomas can still turn things around, one would hope, for the fans.

49 KUNAT November 17, 2007 at 7:58 am

That was Kunat as in Makunat.
Just bloggin.

Lastly, for all anti or non D. Lee supporters……

Good things happen whenever he is on the floor. The hustle, effort, heart, floor burns, banging, good decisions, window cleaning, team player, etc….. the deflections, help D, the many things you don’t see on the box-score (plus no complaints or controversy from this guy)
He is far from perfect but he is a keeper.

(note: nothing to do with his color. it’s one’s productivity that counts)
