Tipoff time is 10pm Eastern.
There’s all kinds of hearsay about this team right now. Rather then speculate on rumored events, I will try to stick to the real, and right now the real is the knicks have lost four in a row going into Sacramento. To me, it no longer matters who is in the starting five, only that the team puts forth a respectable effort to win throughout the basketball game. In that respect, I don’t care if they start pulling people up from the D league to play on this team, just win some games so the Knicks aren’t the laughing stock of the league, as they have been for some time now.
No ZBo tonight, maybe Mardy Collins and Renaldo will play–maybe not. Your guess at the starting five is a good as mine. Last I heard, Curry might not start. Doesn’t really matter, just win the game.

Good morning defenders!
Let me start out by saying that we should all be done with the Marbury bad judgment!
According to another story in the Daily News, even though Marbury heard about his mentors death after his decision
to leave the Knicks, he was in the right place where a higher power wanted him! From reading that story, Marbury
entered the room where Coach lou’s body lay..and wept for twenty minutes! Offered to pay for the funeral.
If it helped coach Lou’s family, then it was more important then a basketball game, even though that wasn’t the origin
of his intent, it was the final result, and that is good enough for me along with his demotion! Time to move on!
A win tonight will wipe this whole ugly road trip away! This team can do it! We will have Zach back with fresh legs!
I have read from the tabloids that Stern allegedly approached Dolan and told him if he didn’t take care of
the situation in NY, he would! How? It’s not lost on me that Dolan had nothing to do with our missing layups,
but the ref’s looked as crooked as the letter S last night! That’s where Stern comes in! He may have dispatched
the word to his corrupt Zebra’s to make it hard for the Knicks! This story has MODI written all over it!
Get a win tonight and we are right back in the mix! Jersey, Miami and the Bulls are all much worse off than we are!
Hell, the Raptors are playing Luke warm! 74 games left to win 48 more! We can do this! Marbury will thrive coming off the bench! We don’t have long to wait for redemption, and very important game starts in ten hours! LGK!
Makunat,
A long time ago, a lot of us decided to make Basketball a big part of our life!
If that is pathetic then so be it. No one is twisting your arm to post here amongst us pathetic people!
It may be noted that you must also read these posts and spend enough time to do so, lumping yourself
in this “Pathetic” group! I suggest you use a better choice of words next time!
Reading todays Hoopshype, it looks like Artest wants to be a Knick as bad as
we want him to be! ” Coming home during the summer, people were asking me when I was coming home?”
That seemed to motivate him! Can anyone say No to Lee and Rose plus a first round pick for Artest?
The Knicks would be a better team, and the Kings would start having fans return to a half empty arena!
Lee played great last night, but to get to the next step, we have to give up something that hurts!
We’ve ran out of Frye’s and Franchise’s!
PEACE DUDE:
I merely scanned through them (the play by play posts) and the word “pathetic” came to mind right away. What can I say? You wouldn’t me to sugarcoat it, would you?
Exactly… no one held a gun to my head to post here. Free speech and free country, right?
Actually Makunat,
It’s a pleasure to blog with the defenders during real game time!
It’s sharing a common bond and watching the game together!
If that’s Pathetic, then you are blind to something you’ll never understand!
Try it sometime during a real game. Your eyes might be opened!

456 post in less than 14 hours???? Double the hits of Lurkers not posting but thirsty for knowledge!
Man you are Knick Blog Mac Daddy! Everyone here should email Msg.com and tell them to view this
blog! This will circumvent the haters that are posting an online petition to remove Thomas!
Yeah it takes a little energy and effort, but you guys know what’s good!
“When you’re not shooting the ball well, you have to lead by example and make the rest of the guys understand that even though you don’t shoot the ball well, it doesn’t mean you relax on defense. If anything, you pick it up,” Bryant said after the Lakers beat Detroit 103-91 Friday night.
To Isola, The GRILL, Berman, Hahn.
THIS IS WHAT A REAL BLOG LOOKS LIKE! We know your watching!
There are no made up “Petes, Bill, Lesters and Goober’s”
that seem to grace your blogs! Do the mail room guys in your place of work
get a bonus for being asked to post on your blog? I would refer to most
of their posts as stupid, but that would be an insult to stupid people!
Anyone who told you guys to be yourselfs, couldn’t have given worst advice!
Hey Defenders
Reading through your post I recall the joys and pains of yesterdays game.
Ku nuts
Were a community. An online community of people with interest that align. BEING KNICK FANS!
Did anyone ever think that the League is trying to Kill the big power center.
Check out this article regarding the Miami Heat’s inner turmoil over Shaq’s lackadaisical play. It could be that Shaq is less motivated to play now a days not simply b/c of age but also b/c NBA ref’s calls are frustrating him.
Tell me you don’t think Stern/Sperm has sent a Memo to his refs to neuter the likes of Shaq and Eddy Curry.
Here’s hoping Odden’s return to Portlandmakes Stern shift his autocratic mandate yet again!
I have a feeling we’ll be drained come tip off against Denver. But again I hope we find a way to get a W.
Peace out brothers and sisters.
Defenders,
I would suspect and believe that the NYK sent footage from the game to the league office. Stern’s rule reminds me of the Pope and his Bishops. You pledge allegiance to him and claim he is a rep of the Almighty One then you get WINS.
If Stern calls in MSG, bring the tape and Ron’s post-game comments. That guys would flop and unashamedly comment it is their only defense against the powerful Center is a stark reminder of the idiotic Lone Rogue Ref and pre-determined outcomes in the NBA.
Willing for Wins.
