I’m going to try and dream that by the morning we will have Bibby and artest…..good night!

2 DaVonn Jefferson November 13, 2007 at 11:41 pm

Knicksome is right.
We need to trade to include Lee in a deal if we are to get Artest.
We need him now!!
Peaceman, I’m man enough to admit when I made a mistake.
All off season, I was saying that we should keep Lee.
If Isiah wasn’t on the chopping block, I would still say
we should keep Lee. Isiah needs to win now so Lee has to go.

We can’t make trades for regular players…we need SUPERSTARS!!

& we need them NOW!!!!!!

3 DaVonn Jefferson November 13, 2007 at 11:43 pm

Here’s who we need to target…

Kobe
Ron
Even though he’s not a superstar…you can see Josh Smith just waiting to break out.

That kid has potential that makes David Lee and Balkman look like nothing.

Real talk!!

4 Peaceman November 13, 2007 at 11:45 pm

I blame Depaul’s Coach for not telling Chandler you can’t bank a shot
off the Score board!

5 Peaceman November 13, 2007 at 11:48 pm

Davonn
I think it may be too late for Lee! He’s been exposed!
His value has dropped!

6 HarleminMD November 13, 2007 at 11:48 pm

Chandler’s a player.

7 Jazz November 13, 2007 at 11:49 pm

I liked what I saw in the game tonight.

Curry. I think the refs were tough on Curry. Still he seemed animated in the game and didn’t even want to sit down when he got his 4th foul.

JCraw. Well he was his usual self. Teams seem to be paying attention to him a lot more these days.

Fred Jones. Well, this will be the main issue. Looks like IT might move Jamal to the point and keep Jones at the 2. Then play Jefferies and Chandler at the 3.

Chnadler. That guy will be good. I like his confidence. First chance he gets in the NBA, he shoots and I liked his defence on Nash.

Lee. He might lose his spot in the rotation. Too bad SAC won’t take him now.

Morris will see more playing time.

I really didn’t miss Steph, though I missed ZBo

LGK. Shock Clips tomorrow. (Without Marbury)

8 Peaceman November 13, 2007 at 11:50 pm

HarleminMD
I agree! The woman love him! I wish he could ball!

9 HarleminMD November 13, 2007 at 11:53 pm

He’s a rookie, can’t expect much from him or Morris.

We can wait for him to develop.

10 Peaceman November 13, 2007 at 11:56 pm

I’m game for Artest and Bibby!
If it takes Balkman and Lee, so be it!

11 HarleminMD November 13, 2007 at 11:59 pm

That’s $21 million for $2 million.

12 Peaceman November 14, 2007 at 12:03 am

I believe Nate,Curry and Zach are Keepers!
Everyone else should be expendable to get
a Superstar! Thank God College ball is starting!
Time to target who we should take in the lottery!

13 Peaceman November 14, 2007 at 12:04 am

HarleminMD
I forgot….that must include Marbury and James!

14 HarleminMD November 14, 2007 at 12:04 am

A buyout might be the answer.
It would give IT time to develop team, make a late 2nd half run at playoffs.
It would force guys like Malik to just play hard.
I don’t care if your coach slapped you like a b*tch, you can’t leave the team. Not your leader.
He knew the press would eat this up, yet he left. Take the benching and earn the money! You don’t really want to play anyway and it’s guaranteed!
Mardy should have wrapped his leg up and returned to the court. This was his opportunity to shine and he was no where to be found.
Patrick Ewing (the warrior with sore knees and big ice packs) looks better with each injury suffered on this team.

15 HarleminMD November 14, 2007 at 12:05 am

Why would Sacramento want Malik or Marbury?

16 Peaceman November 14, 2007 at 12:06 am

I’m outta here like Paul Reveer!
Good night guys!

17 Peaceman November 14, 2007 at 12:07 am

HarleminMD
Because Marbury Can break down teams! On the Fly!

18 MODI November 14, 2007 at 1:46 am

I’m rooting for Marbury and Isiah to kiss and make up. This really sucks. If Jason Williams didn’t hit that jumper the other night, none of this would have happened!

19 DaVonn Jefferson November 14, 2007 at 8:12 am

Does anybody have the insider access to espn?

If so can they please copy and paste the article with the Marbury trade possibilities?

I would love to see what we can get for him.

Now Marbury is threatening to dish dirt on Thomas.

This is getting really ugly.

Dolan has to step in and either do soemthing or say something.

20 Charles Follymacher November 14, 2007 at 8:41 am

Here’s the link to the Marbury has dirt on Zeke story. This is…unseemly. This is one instance i’m for that no-snitchin’ ethos.

21 Peaceman November 14, 2007 at 8:44 am

After a long night, I speculate that Isola’s snitch is Rose!
So does another Knick insider!

Davonn
I think Zeke may be gone too! Herb may get his shot @ Head Coach!
Zeke may remain as GM.

22 DNM November 14, 2007 at 8:49 am

Berman somewhat confirms that flight fued between Marbs and Zeke:
http://blogs.nypost.com/sports/knicks/archives/2007/11/can_isiah-steph.html

23 BARF November 14, 2007 at 8:57 am

steph’s got to be the biggest pussy. what does “i have dirt on isiah” have to do with you being sent to the bench?

be a man.

this team is doomed with steph struggling to keep his head above water. phucking crab will pull everyone down with him.

he doesn’t realize he was a means to an end. his time has passed and when the time came to step up and take the benching like a man, he made the ultimate bitch move and threatened to snitch…on some totally unrelated shyt

what a gurl. scratch that, my girl wouldn’t do some dumb shyt like that.

how does he come back from this? the longer he takes, the worse it gets. he better have an apology and a cameo in a “no snitch” rap video to make up for this.

24 Peaceman November 14, 2007 at 9:09 am

I agree BARF
How can we get rid of him without buying him out?

25 BARF November 14, 2007 at 9:10 am

peace, beside murder you mean?

26 Peaceman November 14, 2007 at 9:12 am

LOL! BARF

There has to be some team that will take him, even if
we add cash to the deal!

27 BARF November 14, 2007 at 9:12 am

funny thing is, under isiah, stephon opened up, became vulnerable…got religious, started giving back.

and the idiot is throwing all that growth away because of a starter’s position?

is he a child? mentally retarded? what?

maybe he’s human and a prayer away from redemption.

notice how all the defenders will stay away…hahaha. we all just hate this drama. its kind of the reason we stick together.

28 Peaceman November 14, 2007 at 9:13 am

If Balkman and Collins can’t go, the Knicks should sign Houston and Brian Green to 10 day contracts!

29 BARF November 14, 2007 at 9:17 am

peace, those days are gone.

there’s no deal we can make. steph isn’t kobe. kobe is a leader and a superstar with the ball in his hands…steph isn’t either. he’s a great penetrator, bad finisher, headcase.

could we pay to have someone take him off of our hands?? i dont know. i imagine the money would still need to match, even if we are the ones that are footing the bill.

i hate how the grill is trying to pin it on zeke. its such a soap opera move. everyone wants zeke out of here and steph is the one that holds the key to that in his hands. zeke did nothing wrong.

he called out his spoiled, egomaniacal star out. he’s been called out many times in his career. he should be used to it by now.

dude gets benched for not being a leader and guess what he does…he leaves. Great move Steph. You phucking idiot.

30 DaVonn Jefferson November 14, 2007 at 9:22 am

Did anybody notice David Lee’s new eye jammy?

I wonder if he got that on Soul Plane…..

31 Tman November 14, 2007 at 9:24 am

The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion. Proverbs 28:1

You play with what you got.Winners stay on, losers go home.

32 BARF November 14, 2007 at 9:26 am

houston wont mix himself up with this mess.

what sucks more is that zach’s out.

poor guys grandmother passes and steph had to go ahead and use this as his time to bitch up…

look, even if the buy out talk is true, you have to go out there and keep playing. give them a reason to keep you. the absolute worse thing to do is quit. you’re going to look like an idiot either way.

peace, what kind of “dirt” do you think steph really has on zeke?

you think zeke wears speedo underwear or something?
what the hell can stephon actually know?

anyone in their right mind wouldn’t do their dirt around that fool. dude talks about “left-handed southpaws” and is berman’s buddy.

i thought dlee always walked around with a busted eye.

wear is everyone who thought balkman and dlee should be starting?

they’re styles of play, coupled with more minutes against starters is an invitation for injuries for Balkman and DLee just isn’t ready to go against starter power forwards on a regular basis. I hope this week answered all of your questions about the Balk and Lee as starters experiment.

33 Peaceman November 14, 2007 at 9:26 am

BARF

If Balk and Marty are out two weeks, why not sign Houston, Green, Q Woods(if available)
to 10 day contracts?

34 Peaceman November 14, 2007 at 9:29 am

This is not going to just Blow over! Marbury will be booed out of the Garden,
much worse than Mark Jackson was!

35 Peaceman November 14, 2007 at 9:30 am

Where do we find “Winners?”

but steph is not a fan fav, he’s not a locker room guy, he’s not a model citizen (outside of infidelity and public goofiness, he may be?)

why go out and make a fool of yourself in front of your teammates on the plane, when you know there are people watching you that dont like you…fool

if stephon thought he was a victim before, wait til the garden has a chance to give him a piece of their mind.

the roof might be coming down that night.

38 STATESMAN November 14, 2007 at 9:34 am

DEE-FENDERS,

What an UNFORTUNATE SITUATION!!! The GAME is SECONDARY to this CRAP, but the team still has to play.

I am an Isiah Supporter, however before we BURY STEPH, ZEKE deserves blame also.
1) First Eddy Curry should not be the one telling Steph that he will not start, (if this did happen).
2) If you are reducing a veteran’s time, take his minutes initially not his starting job after 5-Games
3) How do you justify benching Steph when Jamal has played just as bad-low shooting, high turnovers
poor defense, (actually no defense, he just waves).
4) The reality is very few if any of the PGs play DEE in the league, and keep their man from driving by them,
watch any of the points,(Nash, Parker,Kidd,Arenas), noone plays DEE out front
5) The Miami loss was a total team effort. The Heat are terrible, look what the Bobcats did to them last night
6) Zeke PANIC.
7) ZEKE attempt to light a fire was good in theory, but it was not carried out correctly.(Mgmt 101).
8) Zeke had to know that behind all of Steph’s tough guy BS, he is an overly sensitive man
9) Malik Rose has to go. What has his LEADERSHIP DONE. His skill-set is not a part of the equation, and
his INTELLECT does not help his SHOOTING. He has inflated his value.

DEE-FENDERS-We need 41 more wins to get to 43. KEEP HOPE ALIVE!!!!

Peace & Blessing

states,

jamal has outscored and out-assisted stephon in every game so far FROM THE SG POSITION.

Why would you bench Jamal for Steph? Cuz Kenny Smith thinks so? He didn’t even know who Chandler was last night.

Look to the right, look to the left, then look in the mirror,if you’re happy with what you see, you’ve won.Be patient. Most of the players left are hard workers. They’ll be okay.LGK

42 Peaceman November 14, 2007 at 9:43 am

Zeke just exposed Marbury for what he really is! Marbury should have just went
with the program ! It’s not like we are undefeated and Marbury is playing like an All Star!
So What he wouldn’t have started! He would have played Major minutes! Zeke was carrying out
his Bosses wishes! Can’t say that Dolan doesn’t have the right to delagate his position to Zeke!

43 BARF November 14, 2007 at 9:56 am

after looking at the numbers more closely, stephon out assisted jamal 31- 30 in the first five games. jamal’s outrebounded him 13-11, out-stole him 8-6, out-blocked him 2-0 and outscored him.

Jamal is the team’s leading scorer. why would you bench him ahead of stephon at the SG? As a PG, maybe. Maybe. But definitely not at the SG. Unless, of course, we’re talking politics.

I hate Malik at the offensive end. I really do. But he wasn’t even supposed to be playing last night. At this point, I’d rather see Morris ahead of him. Especially at the 5. Malik’s a locker room guy and if I had to choose between Steph and Malike as this team’s lone veteran presence, I’d go with Malik.

Steph is throwing this away. Plain and simple. Zeke could have been a better manager of a sensitive man’s fragile ego and bitch priorities, but Stephon’s problem is that he abandoned the team.

If you’re down for the team, you’re down with the coach. Steph’s not down witht he coach, even if his coach has gone through the fire for him.

That puts Stephon’s loyalties in question. Then again, Steph’s loyalties are always in question. He’s always put himself ahead of his team.

Zeke’s management should have been more sensitive. But Steph’s problems trumps Zeke’s problems in this situation.

44 STATESMAN November 14, 2007 at 10:02 am

BARF,

Their shooting percentages are similar, and BARF Jamal has played more minutes, w/ a lot of those minutes at the point, while N8 was camouflaging as a pt. To call Jamal a SG is misleading, similar to calling Rose a leader. He should have more assist because he has played more minutes. Did you see McCants and Buckner both just toying w/ Jamal, Ricky Buckets could do what he wanted. Jamal is turnover prone, and has taken wild shots since he has been in the league. The HOF-coach saw this, Skiles in Chicago saw this and the league knows this.

Peace & Blessing

45 knicksome November 14, 2007 at 10:04 am

Guys Marbury has left the building (Madison Square Garden)

Have any of you guys gone to the Knicks home page? if you see up top where Jamal, Nate, David Lee pictures come out with their signiture that puts them inside the garden…….Marbury is no longer there….he was always the first picture to pop up. THAT SHOULD MEAN SOMETHING why would they go though the hassel of taking him out.

46 African November 14, 2007 at 10:04 am

What up Defenders?
Hate to say I told you so, but if you check the archives, I told you I saw Wally Pipp in Steph.
He is/was the problem on the team.
Before we start blaming Zeke Statesman, we must recognize that there is more to the story.
If you look at the way that Miami game ended, Steph obviously ignored coaches’ instructions with the final play.
I was at the game, and Zeke was mad.
I mentioned earlier, that it’s clear to me that Steph is not doing what he’s instructed to do.
Zeke always speak of being a power team, and what I see, is that the guards always seem to break off the called play, at the very first bit denial. The better points reset and try to run the play. Steph just does what he wants. I saw in the final pre season game at the Garden, Kidd working to get guys shots, but Steph trying to score against Kidd, as though it’s a playground game.
Steph just does not get it.
This incident makes it harder to root for Steph. What a sad state. What a “wacky” way to go out.
Then to say you have dirt on Zeke, that’s sad. I hope that’s just the tabloids doing their thing.
Barf:
Do you think that dirt have anything to do with sexual preferences? (lol)

47 BARF November 14, 2007 at 10:18 am

“To call Jamal a SG is misleading, similar to calling Rose a leader.”

Malik is a leader. Even if he isn’t a very gifted athlete, he’s a leader.

Jamal’s a SG. That’s the position he plays.

I saw McCants, Ricky Davis, yes. I also saw Telfair, Jason Williams, Daniel Gibson, Allen Iverson and Jameer Nelson riddle Stephon.

I just can’t sit here and say that Jamal did a worse job on the SG’s than Stephon has done on the PG’s. Ricky Davis went 5-15 and we were in that game until JWill dropped one on Steph. Steph gave up the 3′s to Gibson that opened up the game in the fourth. And Steph is the vet leader. He should be able to take a hit to his ego and lead by example.

He should have taken the seat on the bench alongside Eddy and shown the young big man how to work yourself back into the coach’s favor.

But Steph decided to show how much pull he had. He failed. Now he’s home and we’re trashing him. Well deserved I might add

48 BARF November 14, 2007 at 10:19 am

knicksome, its been like that since yesterday afternoon.

marbury’s no longer the face of the knicks

49 DaVonn Jefferson November 14, 2007 at 10:21 am

Wow, he is gone from their homepage….

That’s great!!!

Get rid of this clown ASAP.

Marbury’s career is done in NY…there is no way he can come back and the other
players on the team shouldn’t let him come back.

I know Larry Brown is somewhere laughing his ass off….counting his buyout cash.

50 DaVonn Jefferson November 14, 2007 at 10:22 am
