I’m not going to the game, any of you guys going?
I’ve been taking care of business away from the knicks defense, guys please help give our esteemed scholar MODI any info he requests for the piece he’s working on, I appreciate it!
Also, for those without MSG network, the radio of tonight’s game will be streamable through the sixers website.
Here are the preseason stats for tonight’s opponents.
It is important that the Knicks stay motivated and continue with the same intensity and urgency they brought to the table last time with the Celtics.
I have a new poll that I’m going to post in the next few days, but I think most of us are still on cloud nine from the win over the Celtics the other night, so I’ll wait a few.
The recent discussions about Nate are very interesting. Are great point guards born or made? Clearly Stephon has been altering his game over the past two years to benefit of the team. Nate will continue to shed light on his answer as the preseason concludes for the Knicks this week.
And another thing, is defense a skill to be taught, or is it mostly desire from within? Have there been many NBA players that have gone from no D to great D? Eddy Curry hopes to be one of them this season.
Anyone heard anything on Balk’s MRI results from yesterday?
If I were to guess at an 8 man rotation right now, I’d say Steph, Jamal, Q, Zbo, and Curry with three guys coming off the bench: Nate, D Lee and Renaldo.
Fred Jones, Mardy Collins, Wilson Chandler, Jared Jeffries and Malik are also reserves that will be used in certain situations, but I think there are 8 are the guys that Isiah is looking at getting regular minutes as of right now. That’s the best way to do it, 8-9 player rotation. We won the most games last season when everybody was out, because people got used to playing with each other on the floor. If you have to keep shuffling the deck to stroke each player’s ego, the turnovers are probably going to stay as high as they were last season.
Just bloggin’ homies.

Anti,
I disagree on the point about Collins and D-Nice.
Collins proved last year that he is fundamentally sound last year. Even on his gimpy leg, he has shown he is still a tough defender. In an earlier game, he neutralized that guy in Maccabi who was running-his-mouth before the game with the Knicks. He also can play both guard positions and small forward. I believe he will recover fully soon.
On the other hand, D-Nice has shown he can score against college talent and rooks. In all fairness, we did not get to see him against high level NBA talent. But I made this point after the Maccabi game and I think I saw the same in last nite’s game. He did not show fire enough for someone auditioning for a position on the Knicks or another team. He drained 2 treys against other Garbage-timers and then he seemed to relax. One thing that has been bugging me is; why did IT make that late-night deal with Portland for the rights to DNice and also the deal for JJordan when the team was already filled with PGs? I feel he was looking for something which he didn’t get and thus decided to let these guys go.
D-Nice might turn out to be a super-star in the NBA but I will give IT the benefit of the doubt on this.
My 2 Cents!!
Go KNICKS
Peace,
I saw that interview…Zeke did appear unusually sad, especially considering they won.
I think he already had his mind made up, and watchin’ DNice drain those tres made him sick to his stomach.
He probably felt even sicker when he had to make the announcement.
It’s not like we have a “plethora” of quality shooters.
Peaceman,
You is wild yo!
Here’s the first siting of your reflection:
“DBNice just went in & said–Do these nuts (taste salty) Zeke? Here’s a couple of treys & if you let me go, you’ll be selling salty popcorn bags”
LOL! I love this blog!
African,
By now, I’m sure you know fully well that we are grown folks here and don’t take too kindly to any form of disrespect–suttle, subliminal, or otherwise. I’m making snide comments about BLOGZILLA–a name attributed to Starburyfan as web host. I don’t want to say any more so not to threaten or wish ill will. The MO here: Don’t start none, won’t be none.
There’s no such thing as Off-limits on a blog. People blog what they want or disconnect if they’re not satisfied. We just happen to establish a modicum of decency and community here. And since you requested that roaches be left alone then so be it. You are ours in this community and you know how we scroll. The cloaked “rush” was engaged but he seems to have a fixation on the cloaked African. Must suck to be “rush” on the blogsphere. Just bloggin’.
Jazz,
My 2 cents=Just bloggin’ here. You will need a few more coins for the privilege to post here. See BARF at the toll gate. Two cents just ain’t gonna cut it.
NBA Pre-season, so many scripts, so little time. Now that the other DBNice shoe has fallen, we can now move on to loving the ones we’ve got (as I’ve been preaching here since KK & KF).

Maybe IT just didnt know how good his guys were going to be.
He said he wanted a competitive training camp. And you cant fault him for having TOO MUCH talent in the preseason. Its sad we didnt have the roster spot open for DNice. JJames’ fat ass gets the spot. Wish we could let him go. But $30 million is a helluva big contract to swallow. I hope DNice doesnt come back to bite us in the ass too much. I expect Boston to pick him up after watching him drop treys on Philly last night.
How about if D-Nice gets picked up the NJ who just opened up a roster spot?
My 3 Cents (courtesy Steady)
Jazz, that would suck.
Guys New blog about an hour ago!

You peeped that too HUH “urban Baloney’… What Tom doesn’t understand, in my WORLD it does not matter where here is, I got EYES on him and will look through him to the CORE OF HIS SOUL…Don’t worry I got a white sheet for him…LOL Off to sleep he goes…
DNICE, on the way out. So sad, to bad, and I’m not certain it is the best move, but I understand it. How it will plays out will be interesting to say the least. Sorry Peaceman!
Keep it POPPIN!
CF, I understand that you have issues, so you threaten people with some voodoo talk to make yourself feel better.
Sorry that was meant for Cooley, not CF.
