Tonight’s Game Against Israel Almost Sold Out

October 11, 2007 – 1:25 pm

msg_night_lg.jpg

According to this article, less than 800 tickets to MSG’s 19,763 seats remain unsold for tonight’s game. This was confirmed when I tried to buy tickets online earlier today and had some difficulty doing so. The game is televised on MSG network, for the locals who have access, NBATV for those who pay for that channel, and as a defender has already mentioned, the audio from the game can be streamed online at NBA.com

They got Fizer, and some other cats who can ball. With all the Euro success stories in the NBA, keep in mind that this team has won the Euro championship three times over the past ten years.

  3. I have a great seat for this game…

On my couch that is! lol

On that Kobe news:I’m Tired of hearing about Kobe!!! He’s old and a has been—-he’s like yesterday news already! Isn’t he?

Davonne,my pal, don’t start with that Kobe talk again—your propose starting five is leaving Crawford out of the Equation. And I don’t like that! I’m looking forward to Crawford 52pts special served to Kobe one day like Alan Houston gave Kobe one time. Yea, I remember.

Guys in case you guys 4 get the type of offense Crawford brings ya—check this out as a reminder:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4V45qYbjOd4

And more to look forward to this new season.

  5. Anti….

I would trade Jamal Crawford and Mrs. Crawford to LA for Kobe…

Jamal being out of the equation is no big deal when your replacing Crawford with the best player on the planet.

I love Crawfords game but he is erratic and he has no post up game…

Shit…if Houston is back to his old self…Crawford may not be in the starting 5 come Christmas.

Let’s not forget that Houston is a better player than Crawford my friend.

I’m pumped for the game tonight though man…

Somebody made a good point that this may turn out to be a good thing because teams won’t be able to prepare for Curry and Zach with preseason video.

    Allan Houston is back…..YES!!!!!!!!!

We are going to kill the East this year.

Yo..go to WSEX and check out the odds of winning the East. I’m going to put $200 on the Knicks to win the East this year. I expect a few of you to do the same thing so maybe we can go to Dominican Republic to celebrate….oh the ladies how they love us New York men….LOL

    Good stuff Starburyfan..

    Welcome back Poppin !!!!!!!!!

All the bloggers are coming back LOL……bout time!!!

    Shuddup!!

    Just say no to Kobe.

The last time the media wanted to “save the Knicks”, they backed the idea of hiring Larry Brown.

    Bad idea.

And you guys think Kobe’s a “good idea”.

DVJ, put down the crack pipe.

Back away from the crack pipe.

Repeat after me, “I WILL NOT COVET OTHER TEAM’S PLAYERS”.

    HAHAHA

JK with you dude. You know I got nothing but love for ya!

    Let go Knicks!

  8. I’m stuck at work til late. Got out of here around 11:30 last night. I got the game one DVR, so don’t spoil it too much for me.

Ah, what am I saying? You guys have a blast. Maybe I’ll just close my eyes.

But if you guys really love me you’ll hit me up with “SPOILER ALERTS”.

I still want to enjoy a night of DEFENDER opinions…but I would like to watch the game unspoiled.

  11. There are some nice indications from this game, but it is clearly not a regular season game. Tel Aviv is getting blown out, but that is probably meaning less to Zeke.

I can’t stand listening to Breen. UGGGGH.

Marbury looks ready to me although he is not playing at max speed.

I don’t understand how you cannot love Robinson if you love basketball. This guy is pure energy and tries so hard to be the best baller he can be. His attitude with that of Lee and Randolph and Rose must be infectious. I am officially a Robinson supporter.

Defensively, I like what I see. Much better effort than last year. Much better coaching than last year. I was complaining alot about the Knicks lounging under the tre line. I like that early pressure above the line. It forces errors. The perimeter “d” is still suspect but the effort is so mush better.

Don’t mess with Lee. He is a stud. recogninze and don’t get pissed when he becomes the face, along with Randolph and Curry, of the Knicks.

By DNM on Oct 11, 2007 at 9:34 pm

  14. On the subject of D-Nice, i didn’t see enough of him but the little I saw was not too impressive. he did well in the Summer League. Unless he picks up in the next few games or Allan Houston flunks, D-Nice will be NBDL bound

    My 2 cents

By Jazz on Oct 11, 2007 at 9:38 pm

  15. This was a yawn of a game. Another win in the bag though.

Next Celtics time!!! Oh, we Defenders are so looking forward to that game.

“Curry, Zach Randolph, David Lee—that is a formidable front line…do you hear that Boston…do you know what that word mean, formidable?”

Defenders, what do u think of that commercial. Factual statement commercial, though.

    By Anti-NYSportsNews on Oct 11, 2007 at 9:48 pm

  16. Jazz, D-Nice hardly played any. Isiah didn’t play him until garbage time. Giving Fred Jones more playing time.

    By Anti-NYSportsNews on Oct 11, 2007 at 9:51 pm

  17. Heres my take,
    LEE.ZACH,Crawford were Monsters!
The best player on the floor was NATE!
Did you see those precision passes?
LEE and Jefferies BLEW two thread the needle
passes by Nate! Nate is serious! Watch out Marbury,
who in my opinion didn’t look too good tonight!
We played against down right Scrubs tonight, so
it’s hard to really get excited!

Somethings brewing here for Fred Jones to get so much burn!
Even Chandler didn’t get much burn, which leads me to think
A BIG TRADE IS BREWING, I believe ZEKE showcased Jones as part of a trade package!
Jefferies plain out sucked! Rose did what a veteran should do, but we
weren’t playing against much! This game did little to make any serious
statements or adjustments about this Knick squad, with the exception
of NATE IS THE EPITOME OF HEART AND SOUL!

By Peaceman on Oct 11, 2007 at 9:51 pm

  18. Defenders: St. George signing up. Jones 4-4 nad 4-4 from the line. Maybe he will earn his keep. Did anyone see the game? was Jones good on the defensic=ve side as he seem to be on the O? Lee looks like he had a nice game and Randolph looks good.

    By St_George on Oct 11, 2007 at 9:55 pm

  19. I was watching GameCast. I think you’re right Peace: I think Chandler might be traded. How can Wilmont and Fred Jones get so much time while Chandler is sitting there and you have 4 guards on the floor? I saw Chandler got a dunk on his first attempt, as well as a block. I hope he doesn’t go, but it’s a roster problem between him and Balkman, and you know Balk is going to get minutes. I don’t know how you play both of them, but I wish we wouldn’t trade Chandler. I feel like that is a trade that will haunt us in 3 years.

By HarlemBoyinMD on Oct 11, 2007 at 9:59 pm

  20. Jazz,
you didn’t see the splinter out of the ass curls by Nichols? They were awesome!
How can you see him or Jordan or Chandler’s game when we put them in with two minutes left?
It’s not like we weren’t up by 28 points!!!!!! Against Drossman and Darren!
This game had the excitment of a root canal! I don’t know why I’m feeling
so Jaded tonight! But for the guys who didn’t see the game, you didn’t miss much!

By Peaceman on Oct 11, 2007 at 10:01 pm

  21. I don’t know how Nicholas makes this team; there are too many good guards in front of him. There was a report (from our previous place) that Houston made 96 of 100 shots in warmup. That’s sick man. You can’t teach that. That is a God-given skill that you just can’t teach. I don’t know how he’s going to play defense, but it sure would be nice to see that sweet J.

It sounds like Nate is really going to challenge Marbury. That’s what’s up!! I LOVE to see real competition! He is starting to pass the ball! Marbury still had to many shots for me, doesn’t seem like he’s taking to the floor general position that he is placed in.

Good looking blog. It will build, just like before

  22. Lives in Jersey,
Mike Breen has got to be the biggest asshole
ever to call a Knicks game! His historic rendtion of ZACH’S past
included a statement that his father was in JAIL? WTF?
I was expecting him to contiue the family tree to see what Plantation his
family during slavery were bought and sold and worked at! And if they were good field workers
or tryed to escape to the North! What an asshole!

  23. African said there were many juvies at the other place. That’s what happens when a guy begins to believe his press clippings written by his daddies–we made that kid.

Looks like we’re going to have to give DVJ another woody by talking about the Black Mamba again. Could someone go back there and retrieve all our posts for that thread–that day DVJ had the keys and Harlem MD was going toe to toe schooling anyone who wanted to hear. That’s where the respect got built–those dog days of summer.

Any other conspiracies that can be discerned from the game. IT is really teaching D-Nice a lesson. He’s been hazed big time. You don’t pop off to the Lil General (4*) and try to show him up. WTF was he thinkin?

  24. I hate to say this because Davonn will have an orgasm,
But if this talk about the lakers are now willing to trade Kobe, Then Consider LEE, Chandler,
Jones, Marty and Marbury GONE! LA will most likely take James or Jefferies and two # 1 picks, to make it work cap wise,
but if the rumors today are true, Kobe is heading to NY! The endorsments for Kobe alone would triple any NBA salary!
And if Kobe were to follow in Marbury’s lead of 14.95 Kicks, every kid in the Nation would buy a pair!
Somethings really going on even though I”M JUST BLOGGIN! All I want is ARTEST!

  27. With a blowout you’d of thought that DNice would have gotten more burn. I saw more defensive effort but it is hard to tell what that will translate into against the stronger Eastern Conference teams. The Euro Team was sloppy and overwhelmed it was sort of like a yawn fest but I’m glad we got to see some of the team tonight. Nate, Z-Bo, and Lee looked real nice and stood out to me.

I’ll chime in some time tommorow with more news clippings in the meantime does David Lee have a Knick Name? I was thinking of one for him but didn’t know if he already had one. If not I’ll run it by you guys. Hahn is Gone his ship will sink for the show of disrespect! From an engaging energitic blog to an infantile blog full of amateur banter sort of like that Magavi team.

  32. I agree with Peaceman. Nate was the best player on the floor
tonight. Fred JOnes also looked good. Zach and Lee had their
    moments.

We’ll know more about this team once E-City and the Taz Dvil
returns. It will be hard for Zeke to establish a rotation. Then
again, in certain games–during the 2nd game of a back-to=back
schedule, the the deep bench will only help us through the season.
Against certain teams, Zeke could play 12 guys–with many’
interchangeable players–pressuring the ball most of game, and
running other teams ragged. If all can stay healthy, time is on
    our side.
